Dr. Lawrence's class was great! Super uninteresting material, but he makes it engaging with lots of stories and videos. Attendance is 20% of your grade, so don't skip class! Definitely take advantage of the extra credit (up to 6 points total). 4 tests that get easier as you go, take him!

He is an overall OK guy, but the class could not be more dry. I am pretty sure 50% of the class was asleep before 20 minutes into the class. Class is easy though. Don't bother ever putting more than 20 minutes in to reading for the quizzes.

dr. lawerance is a nice man. his class is just extremely boring!! you have pop quizzes throughout... assigned seats in alphabetical order. do not tell him you want to sit in the front.. worst decision of your life!! some of the speakers he brings in are interesting. don't bother reading.. just do extra credit to make up the points.go to class

get your cell phone ready, because you will be texting your friends or playing games on your cell all class.the class is easy. i never read a buisness week and passed the class just do the other assignments and you will be fine its PassFail so it doesnt matter much. Dr. Lawerence was a nice guy tho even tho he had other speaker talk the whole time

Very nice man but a boring class. Had pop quizzes on business week articles and useless assignments. Class could have been more stimulating, but overall he was a good teacher and knew what he was talking about.

Boring. Seminars every class. Only once a week but its an hour and a half of torture. Just make sure you get the three assignments done, you get plenty of time. dont order businessweek, just browse your friends and you will do ok on the quiz, enough to pass the class anyways. easy but boring.

This class is without a doubt the most boring class I have ever attended in my life. It is required for business majors, so you just have to suck it up and take it. It is not difficult, just boring as crap and waaaay too long.

Really boring class. 3/4 of the class is either sleeping or on their laptop. Much of the assignments are just plain busy work but it helps you get organized in the long run. Required class for Business students so get it over with.

Don't bother ordering BusinessWeek, you'll get plenty of points without it. Only need 322/460. Extremely boring class though. You'll need an iPod to survive. One positive: Guests from big co. come talk about their jobs, like Enterprise, DeWalt, SunTrust, etc.

Class wasn't always interesting, but it is required. Only a few assignments to complete, all were easy. You can only miss 2 classes the semester, and there is assigned seating. Do all the assignments, look through the Business Week articles, and you should have no problem passing this class. You will get the most out from the guest speakers.

The most boring class i have ever taken in my life. i would dead going to sit in this class for an hour and a half. He's a really nice man though. It's just the class that is torture. Take a magazine, book, laptop, anything to keep you awake and you'll make it.

Dr. Lawrence is a very organized professor. However, he gave us a "surprise" assignment the day before Thanksgiving break. We had to outline our entire final exam study schedule in detail. Not fun. It's an easy class to go hear speakers, but the few assignments don't really feel like anything more than busy work.

He has the most annoying voice I have ever encountered. Plus, theres assighned seating. This class is an hour and a half of torture. Its required so you cant get around it... but the only grades are community service, 2 easy assignments, and 2 pop quizes. Take a good magazine and an Ipod. A few beers before wouldn't hurt either.
