This teacher provides no feedback on any tests or homework. All she does is just deduct a huge amount of points for the slightest mistake. She also is very difficult to get in contact with outside of class. She is one of the worst professors LCC has to offer as she does not teach the lesson well at all. I wouldn't recommend her to my worst enemy.

Jing Wang is the worst teacher I've ever had. Extreme grader, half credit taken away for the smallest mistake. If you get something wrong, you'll get zero feedback on your paper. Lectures aren't teaching, just reading out of the textbook. Spends most of the class telling you to go to a study group. HW doesn't reflect tested material.

I took her class during spring. It's taught at a very fast pace. It's hard to understand the material since her lectures are very confusing. Going to her office hours wasn't helpful. I only learned the material by doing her review packets other than that I would have failed her class. Beware her final is very tough. I wouldn't recommend her.

Jing teaches really fast. She always tries to fit two sections into one lecture. Online homework is a life saver when it comes to understanding the concepts, as not much time is spent on it during class. She's very accessible outside of class. VERY hard grader; wants you to get a question on a test completely right, takes off too many points.

She gives you a review packet well in advance before tests, which are basically replicas of the actual questions on the test but with small differences. Gives a fair amount of extra credit. Definitely encourages you to succeed. The final is rough though.

She does not take the time to review, before moving on to the next chapter. She is a very tough grader. She takes off too many points on a test for getting a question mostly right. She does not care if you pass or fail. Does not explain lesson very well. I have to take her again next semester if I want to graduate. HATE IT.

Jing is a nice person and she tries very hard to teach information during lectures, but struggles to explain it outside of class. I got a tutor (math professor), but not even they could explain JIng's lessons; we generally spent the session both being confused. Also, if you struggle with accents, then she might be more difficult to understand.

Jing is simply amazing. She is very straight forward with what will be on her tests, she provides reviews and numerous office hours. Jing cares about your success, not just your grade. That being said, it's a hard class to get an A in. She inspired me to become a math professor. I would recommend her to everyone

Ruthless grader. She careless if you pass or not. She have unbelievable thick accent you will not understand a word. She give the hardest questions on her tests. too many impossible projects. no time to ask her any questions. she takes 2 hours to explain one lesson and give only 2 or 3 examples. Avoid her at any cost she'll make u hate mathematics.

Jing is awesome! I took her over the fall and Jing had very helpful and clear lectures. She would ask if there were any lingering questions and would answer them in her best ability. Also definitely utilize her office hours! Be aware of the final project at the end of the semester though; make sure you have a classmate you can work with.

She was okay, however, reviewing for tests wasn't an option. She wants to move on too quickly. I didn't do well on the tests because she only let us review for 20 min and no longer. Too much homework if you have other classes. Has a thick accent, sometimes hard to understand but it gets better. Cute little lady and very enthused about math.

Great teacher! It was challenging but she gives you all the notes to follow along, homework and quizzes were online and easy. Tests are pretty straight forward and like the online homework. She grades the tests fairly and is overall very helpful and nice. I would definitely recommend taking Calc with her.

As some who went from 107 to 151 over a 2-year period, she is the best math instructor I've had at LCC. She's genuinely interested in teaching what she does and will explain why things work. There is a lot of homework, but, gasp, it will help for tests. And yes, because this is calc, expect to put in 10-15 hours a week to be successful. :)

Jing is a great instructor. She provides students with note handouts that discuss the important parts of each section. Her study guides are amazing because they help cover what will be on the exam and they provide students with extra credit. Calc 2 is a very challenging course, but Jing does a great job answering any questions you may have.

Adorable little woman! Very helpful in making sure you get the concepts. Lots of busy work assigned for homework. Grading format for tests is weird. DON'T BUY THE BOOK, she gives you lecture notes for each section and the homework is online. Overall good class.

Jing was a great teacher. Calc is a hard subject and I think a lot of the people who took her class thought it'd be easy for some reason. If you pay attention, do the homework and the practice tests, you'll do fine. She moves fast, but not too fast.
