Mr. Fennell is very energetic, and a good professor. He uses silly examples, and applies it to all of his lectures for better understanding. Definitely recommended.

DO NOT TAKE ONLINE COURSE. Took MGT305 online due to recommendations of advisor and students and Fennel was only one available. Excessively long homework assignments (15 pages single spaced for one). Took him 2 weeks to respond to an email about an assignment worth 12.5% of final grade (Did not get back until the day after it was due)

Comment:

Fennell makes basic micro/macroeconomics very easy. He does speak a lot about politics, and is very repetitive. The tests are very easy (40 true/false, 10 multiple choice, and 5 bonus MC). He specifically tells you for this course not to even bother with the book and makes note packets for you. Just listen during class.

He likes to inject his personal political agenda into chat sessions, which is unprofessional and annoying. His chat sessions are easy and pointless. We have two tests during the semester that are 80% of the grade and the chat sessions are 10 (meet online for an hour and say a few things, thats all). He does not respond to e-mails quickly at all!

Took the online course and totally regretting hit. Excessively long writing assignments (last one was 14 pages single space for 52 questions). I was told to take this class online by students and my adviser. I regret not taking the lecture. Does not know how to use Moodle in an effective manner (posts tons of word files rather than emails) TEDIOUS

Didn't know anything going in, came out knowing all the material. DO NOT NEED THE BOOK! He hands out notes, that's all you need. His lectures are really helpful, as long as you listen, you will barely need to study for the tests. Annoying manor-isms, but still a really good teacher.

I took micro and macro with him. He takes the monotony out of economics with stories that you wouldn't expect. He's entertaining. He wants to help. If you dont do well in his class it's because you were as lazy as someone could possibly be. I wish he taught more classes... i'd definately be enrolled!

This is such an easy class and u dont even have to buy the book cuz he types all the notes out for u.All u hav to do is pay atention in class and u wont even have to study.He is hilarious and says "aight" every few words and claps his hands, at first it was hard to concentrate cuz i wanted to laugh whenever he did that.
