SIT IN THE FRONT OF CLASS!!! he talks so softly because he is old and has Parkinsons disease that you can honestly barely hear him. Other than that not really that bad of a class. Decent B you'll have to work a little to get an A

My favorite class I have had in 3 years at WIU. John knows his stuff! No attendance policy. Tests are on the exact material he tells you to study. Study what he told you before the test and you should have an A. Funniest teacher I ever had- loves to interact with students. Its a TUE/TH class and it usually only lasts 30 minutes. Take this class.

I def suggest!!! Easy!!! No homework. Offers extra credit sometimes. Class never goes entire length. He's funny, always making jokes. No attendance policy. If you want an A this is the class.

This guy is super easy. Never ne hw. Class usually lasts about 20-30 min and then you leave. He's funny, always making jokes. the class is super relaxed and never takes attendance. he's a really cool guy and would recommend him to anyone looking to take this class. This is the 2nd time I've taken him, great teacher. Keeps things light by making jokes, has movie day every Friday. Tests are all essay, about 5 questions always with 1 extra credit. Highly recommend this teacher. :-)

This guy's an excellent teacher. He knows what he's talking about & makes some pretty funny jokes during class. I'm now in his LEJA 309, & the only book we use is a $4.75 book he put together. Take good notes, & you get an A. He only takes attendance once in a while, & tells some good stories. I recommend taking him if you can! :-)

Everyone who has taken his class knows why John speaks quietly, he CAN'T help it. I had him for two classes and it saddened my when he quit teaching the 440 series for security.

Nice guy, pretty funny. VERY quiet, hard to hear if you don't sit real close. Tests & final are all essay. Never really took attendance but the tests are hard if you don't take good notes. Good teacher, I plan on taking him again next Fall. :-)
