Great professor! Very knowledgeable. Yes he is sarcastic but funny and can be confusing when he answers your questions, however if you really don't understand by the end of his explanation just push him for an answer again and he will take the time to make sure you get it.

Comment:

I took his biology lab class. He is a great professor! Always there to answer your questions, however if you don't take sarcasm very well I don't suggest you take his class. He only lectures about what he tests you on and that's it, which is great! I really recommend his class because it honestly helped me out in my lecture class!

As a Professor, John was very fair. His tests don't really include trick questions, but are still challenging if you don't study enough. He gives out lecture notes that contain everything he'll test on (and no more). Quizzes are frequent : every class date. My recommendation is to study for the quizzes, for they add up. 4 Lecture Exams, 3 Lab Exams

He is an okay teacher. Just be sure you go to all of the classes because you get points for everyday you go. Also be careful when you take your quizzes because there can be trick questions and you need to know which is which. He is a good teacher, but you have to do your part in this class?

Hes a really nice and funny. During lectures he gives you the notes already typed. But even with that his lecture test are tricky. His lab test are much easier, just study study and youll do fine. My only problem with him is that he doesnt answer questions directly he uses sarcasm and leaves you confused on whether he was serious or joking around.

mr.h is great. he is super funny and expects a lot from his students. you have to study, duh, it's zoology. just study, and you'll do fine. he made the class enjoyable.

Prof. Hakanson, iffy about him. I thought I liked Biology, I guess not. Too many tick questions included in the exams, I don't think it's bad, but it's not great either. I'm surprised about the positive feedbacks he received, he's a nice prof but I don't think he's easy. He's organized but his teaching style is somewhat confusing. Oh well.

He is one of the nicest and fairest teacher i have ever had.You dont need to even read the book unless you are pretty dumb. His notes are all straight-forward. No surprises on the tests or quizzes you know what is coming. He is also funny. He never gives conscise answers but he is always willing to help. He knows his stuff and the labs are easy.

HES AWESOME!!! REALLY FUNNY and his tests are easy. everything we go over in class will be on the test, nothing surprising and even though he was my lab teach i liked him and learned more from him better than my actual bio teacher.

I am sorry to say that he is not a good teacher. He is a very nice person, but the style in which he teaches is very confusing and hard to understand, he at times can be very indecisive and thus leave you very confused and not at all understanding what he wants. The class can be fine if you are a science major.

He's nice and has a sense of humor. He's helpful, considering he e-mails the lecture notes, that we only have to fill-in the blanks. His notes are more helpful than the book. We don't need a lab notebook, but he gives out the hand outs too. Attendance is not a big deal, except for signing out of lab. Just study for the quizzes and tests. Take him.

this professor is funny and makes a joke each time to ask him a question. he is quite difficult to understand, but his tests are easy. nice guy who hardly gets angry with the students because he is TOO NICE! would highly recommend.

Not very helpful in terms of guiding to what you need to do in labs. But very easy lecture exams because lecture guides are given and there fill in the blank---so during lecture you write the missing terms. Whatever not discussed in class lec. or guides -not on test or he will cut irrevelent info.
