Comment:

Dr. Leyba is the BEST professor I have ever had. Always willing to help and wants you to succeed. Tests are difficult but make you a better thinker and problem solver. Lecture is fun and filled with demonstrations and life stories. His ability to take complex physics concepts and teach them in a way that everyone can understand is second to none.

Fantastic professor. Over qualified for the position, but seems to enjoy doing it. Logical comparisons, he's funny, helpful handouts, tests that make you think and learn not just memorize...Just great!

I am a graduate student in Anesthesia working on my my fourth degree. Dr. Leyba is by far the best professor I have ever had. He is a very interesting person, extremely intelligent and will go out of his way to assist his students. I highly recommend his classes.

Comment:

Dr. Leyba is one of the smartest individuals I've ever met... he has a PhD in Nuclear Chemistry, and is waaaaay overqualified to be teaching general physics. However, he is not your typical pompous professor. He actually enjoys teaching young adults (or he's a really good actor). If you need help, he goes out of his way to accommodate your needs.

This man is the most amazing professor Ive ever had!! I feared Physics, but he made it understandable and enjoyable! He really knows his stuff and will spend extra time helping you. He has really funny jokes and is not at all intimidating. He is not only an awesome teacher, but an excellent role model!

Physics is never an easy class but Dr. Leyba does a very nice job at trying to get students interested. He is very nice and extremely helpful if you just ask!

a fairly boring class, but not a bad teacher. just hated being there for 3 hrs. very helpful, grades fairly accurately and curves. good grades if you put forth any effort.
