I really enjoyed this class. Mr. Diaz makes chemistry easy to learn. Mr. Diaz gives only 4 test plus a final. Gives a study guide for each test. No book needed. Attend class, pay attention and u will pass this class.

Comment:

The only bad thing about Mr. Diaz is that he's unorganized, comes in late, and takes about 15 mins to start class after the initial time. However, he makes this class very easy! Gives study guides for all 4 tests (1 drop) and a final that are very easy. Don't need book unless you want to do the practice questions and does not use MyChemLab.

He's a great teacher. Took at Clarkston. 4 tests and a final. Drops your lowest test. Study guide for every test. He's very clear and straight-forward but YOU HAVE TO STUDY. Tests are not tricky but they are out of what he teaches.

This prof is great makes chemistry really easy to understand! I would recommend if you need to complete chem 1152, you will get a good grade. Exams are easy, but you will be required to study of course, if you want to pass with a high grade.

Online class. There were quizzes for each chapter, one midterm (online) 15% and final(on campus) 20% of the grade. Other teachers have exams, quizzes, midterm, final and discussions but this teacher keeps it simple. One word to succeed : STUDY . most of the questions come from power points and book. MUST Study both .

RUN!!! I just finished CHEM-1151 with a "B". Luckily I had taken a CHEM course in the past. I wouldn't recommend this professor to anyone because he's no help! He gave us an exam due date but didn't open the exam/quiz until a week past the due date. He has a very slow or no response to email/questions. He leaves you to LEARN CHEM ON YOUR OWN!

Just took the proctored final for his 1151 online class and it was NOT like any of the other test or quizzes. Some questions came from a chap we never covered. Quizzes were not hard, no discussion, mid term questions from quizzes. Drops 2 out of 9 quiz grades. Final review did not help for this class for this semester.

Horrible online professor!! He is not involved with the class at all! The only thing he would do is post quizes, that's all! Your on your own in this class. Never took a class where the professor was no where to be found the entire semester. Wouldn't even return emails!! Take someone else if possible.

Dr. Diaz is an excellent professor. He's good at explaining things down to our level. He explains things where you understand them. Before every test, he gives a review. What he says in the review largely makes up the test. The tests are pretty easy. Very nice man too. Highly recommend.

Horrible teacher. Hardly ever responds to your questions, maybe in a few weeks. Online quizzes ev 10 days, read the powerpoints and book. Final on campus but he doesn't tell you until after the midterm and can no longer drop if grade is bad, so you have no option. No study guides. NO HELP at all. No extra credit like all the other teachers.

i took it online and man i thought i wouldn't need the book because there was already a lot of material on there so i just read the onine powerpoints. There are some questions that are not on the powerpoints. Basically there are quizzes for each chapter, a midterm and a final. I could have make an A without the book, but i flunked the final.
