Strange... one of the most influential professors I've had, in fact. Although, you all mostly had him for intro; instead, I had him for computer ethics. He really changed my whole world view of thinking and raised my interest in moral philosophy. He covered the material very well. He got his education at Oxford and it showed.

I took intro to philosophy online. The material is kind of confusing, but the book explains it well. There is a weekly discussion board with 6-12 questions to answer. The tests are pretty hard and the questions on it are hard to understand. Be prepared to take good notes and study hard if you wanna pass the tests!

I had him for philosophy. He never gave feedback on the discussion boards, so you never know if you are really right. He doesnt even had a grade tab... so you literally don't know you grade until midterms and once the class is over. This class wasn't hard but my anxiety level was HIGH bc i never knew what I had in there and the tests were proctoru

Took Dr. Sartorelli for Computers, Ethics and Society last semester. Easily one of the most brilliant people I've ever met in my life. He likes when students get really deep into what THEY feel and think about the theories presented in reading assignments. He likes seeing students go above and beyond to figure out how things go together. Fantastic.

Needed one of his courses to complete my schedule. Emailed him a very friendly request asking to be added to one of his multiple full courses. He sent back a rudely phrased no. Quick response, but appears to be rude...

I took this class online and it was the worst thing ever. He never gives feedback on online discussion posts, the tests are very confusing even with the book. If philosophy isn't your best subject then don't take this class online. I am a A-B student and I made a C on every test even after reading the chapters.

Took class online. Very easy but don't expect feedback from online or emails if confused. Had a couple of lecture classes before testing was helpful. Read the book mandatory but I found it confusing.

He is a very nice guy. Always smiling and energetic. The lectures aren't to boring. if you catch on. The only problum I had was that the tests were really confusing they ware all multiple choice about 50 or 60 on one test. Online discussions were easy. I wish I would have taken him online.

He is a really sweet teacher. He hardly ever passes a sign in sheet around, and most of the classes are online discussion boards.. which are also very easy! Definitely take him

It was great. I read the material and followed the discussions and did the assignments. I just kept reading and studying and got an A. You only have yourself to blame if you don't benefit from this course.
