Comment:

She really simplifies business law which is the best part about her class. She tells you what you need to know and provides many handouts as supplements (which are practically the only thing you need to study for the exams). Be careful to know every rule she asks of you, bc I lost 14 pts on one question by missing one little rule. Great class!

Very nice professor. I took her class in summer. Easy A. She will let you know what to read and what to skip before the exam, she goes over all the problems in class, so if you make notes and go over them again before the test, you'll ace it. Very funny and interesting woman. I enjoyed her class! Highly recommend to take.

1 midterm and 1 final. She reviews thoroughly for each. everything is on her handouts and she goes over most problems of each chapter. she also prefers short answers on tests. just read her handouts and pay attention in class. EASY A. (took in summer)

She was funny in the beginning of the semester but, now its become a boring class. I think she is trying to get through alllllll the material. Her midterm consisted of essays, MC, and short answer, it was not bad. The best way to study is concentrate on the material she mentions during the review and memorize it. She provides her own notes.

Excellent professor and excellent class. She makes contract law entertaining and easy to understand. She gives many examples and a lot of handouts so that you really understand the material. She spends time reviewing prior to the exams. She can be rough at times but very intelligent and a very good professor

She is a great professor and one of the best at Baruch. There is no surprise on the exam as long as you study the handouts and notes. She also reviews for the midterm and final and makes sure all students understand where they should study to prepare for the exams. Highly recommend to take her class.

She is funny when she is in a good mood and a nice lady. She gives a lot of handouts which explain the rules. Her class will not be a challenge to students who already have taken business law as undergrads or already know a lot about law. She is not a dynamic professor who brings a lot of information about current topics in corporate law.

She's funny, but definitely not the best professor. She isn't very prepared as much of class time is dedicated to her flipping through the current and previous versions of the textbook to point out material she's talking about. The exams are easy, but she grades extremely harshly. Rote memorization is preferred to demonstrating comprehension.

Love her. It was so hard when I took business law during undergrad. However, She gave handout and explained everything crystal clear. She made me interest in law. She had patient to answer all questions. Exam is not too hard if you attend the lecture. One of the best professor in my life. I highly recommend people to take her.

Love her. She's funny and made lectures interesting with life examples. Just take notes and read the parts of book she required and you'll do great. Only midterm and final and are fairly easy. Got an A as long you make efforts to cover what she teaches.

Funny professor. Exams are based on lectures. Although I will have to say that her grading seems arbitrary. I received a 97 on the midterm, and I'm pretty sure I didn't do that bad on the Final, yet I only got a B+ in the class. Another student got an 80 for the midterm and received an A in the class, which is impossible even if he aced the Final.

Tricky people, and treat students like child. She makes you think you are in the 5th grade. She can skip the class, but students could not. She outrageously asked students to wait for her for 2 hours when she was late for class..Poor people.....

Absolutely love Prof Barrett in Law9800. She makes me like Law (something that I hate previously). You need to put in the effort to study and understand the material. Her exam is very straightforward. She's available outside the class, fast in replying email too. I strongly recommend everyone to take her class.
