I took this as a half semester class, so It was a lot of work, and a lot of studying. Goes fast, quizzes every week, study what she tells you to study and you will pass. Oh, and when it comes to the quizzes she lets you pick sections you want the quiz to be on. Smart woman. Put in the work and you will get an A.

Dr. A is, without a doubt, one of the easiest teacher to pass and get along with at USCB. She wants you to learn the material, and she teaches as such. Passing this course is amazingly easy if you want to.

She is very fair but does not cater to those who do not keep up--which can be challenging at times. Pay attention to your spelling--at the end of the class you may still not be able to spell in English but you will be able to do it in Spanish :) She was fun and I enjoyed her class.

If you are going to take Spanish, and you want to enjoy it sign up for a class with Dr. Alvarez. If you do the work required of you out of class, the in class sessions will fly by very quickly. Easygoing, but expects you to carry your work load.
