Judy Ryan is a great professor. She is very understanding of personal/life situations. She's also passionate about the subject. I've taken her Hum 11 class back in spring of 2015. The difficult part of her class is that it required no textbook. So you either jot down every word when she lectures. Or research more in depth and study for tests.

Ms. Ryan was an amazing teacher! She made her class interesting I almost changed my major. Her knowledge of the material she covers is extensive, which helps her students appreciate different types of art. She does not require a textbook which really helped me financially. She is an easy grader just show up to class. Midterms & finals are important

Ms. Ryan was an amazing teacher I recommend everyone take a class with her. Extremely knowledgeable on subjects she is teaching responds to emaills fairly quickly eager to help any student with a problem. Fair grader and reasonable expectations of students. Ms. Ryan is also incredibly loyal to her students in not requiring a textbook.

I like her class. It's somewhat easy. But her assignments really kills your grade bad if you forget to do it. Lots of memorization! Lots of research outside of class in order to understand the subject and materials. I don't recommend this class if you need to read and study out of a textbook.

I had a A+ to B- at the end of the semester. She takes a lot of notes! Do your assignments and sometimes only get partial points. She is a really hard grader, I wouldn't take her again. This class has a lot of GROUP ACTIVITIES and participation is a must if you want to pass. No book required. Not as helpful as other teachers.

60% of Jeopardy ?s are based off of Ms Ryans class. ATTEND, BLACKBOARD it - UTMOST importance. I'm Genesis illiterate until this GE class that YOU should not take lightly. I'd hate it when Ms Ryan canceled class (legitimate reasons). Her lectures, LOVELY. PLEASE, attend her class on-time and for the semester. Worth every second of your being.

Don't take class. there were 10 chapter in the midterm. hard to remember all. three parts of test. 1. essay, matching, and recognition. the matching is 137 question in 50 min and recognition is 88 pic one in 20 sec. don't take her. bad bad. i not even finish all in 50 min. i just finish half on those tests. don't take her.

This class was challenging, but I was really glad I took it from this instructor. She kept my interest level up, not an easy thing since it was an afternoon class and I was usually tired. I actually miss the class now that it's over.

Class is very online based. Most assignments not announced in class. no textbook required but must print documents and bring to class. very fast passed with many small point quizzes. must pay attention and don't be shy. a lot of group work. Ryan gets irritated easily and is often bored in class. class is VERY subjective. wouldnt recommend taking it

I thoroughly enjoyed taking Judy Ryan's classes. She utilizes the internet and blackboard amazingly. I appreciate that she saved me so much money on lengthy text books. She is very funny and keeps the class lively and entertaining. She is easily accessed via email and I learned so much more than I imagined I would. Take her class!
