Would not recommend taking this course. There is an excessive amount of work and reading. The projects are extremely time consuming. I would not take her ass a professor ever again.

I'm supposed to graduate at the end of this semester and if this class ruins it for me... so help me.. Every single person in my class is miserable. The homework is HEAVY, the tests are HARD, projects, discussions, partner chats, oral discussions every single week. This class makes me cry every day. I hate the language now, Hate the teacher.

I agree with another post, quizzes and tests are too heavy for such a basic class. It's like she expects you know things as if Humanities is your major. Weekly quizzes, HUGE midterm and final with a not so helpful study guide. Discussions are lengthy with two parts and minimum response lengths. Be prepared for a museum and show & paper for credit.

Horrible teacher. Doesn't use online technology well in online courses. Gets back to your emails in 3-5 days. Maybe. One of those teachers that thinks she has to give you 2x the work to justify you not being in a physical classroom, like since you don't have to come to campus you must have 20+ hrs a day to just do my class. Avoid. Very bad.

Do not take! She relies on VHL TOO much. The estimated time spent on VHL is ridiculous. Higher than any other professor I have taken. If you are taking more than one class and can not devote at least every single day of your week doing an assignment, do not take this class. You also rely on others' posts for your discussion questions. It's insane.

Do not take her class. Way too much work for one class. Weekly tests are 20 questions and 15 minutes to take. Weekly discussions are part A and part B and must be 200 words or more. Responses must be 100 words or more.

DO NOT TAKE HER. I am a native Spanish speaker and I AM STRUGGLING. Although we are in college, it is ridiculous how much work we have EVERY WEEK. She randomly emailed us on a Monday about our midterm and how we have until Wednesday to take it. Meanwhile she assigns MORE WORK. She assigns work during spring break. She's absolutely awful online.

I felt as though this class consisted of a lot of unnecessary reading and writing. Every week we had discussion posts that were like mini papers and there was a word count when replying to other class mate's posts. It was a lot of information thrown at you and it's just not that possible to remember all.

A LOT OF READING!-starts off slow & then gets interesting, Reading every week,Quizzes every week, Post weekly. She give two free stress passes b/c she understands people work & have children. She responds quickly to emails & if you are open with her she gives great solutions. SHE COMMUNICATES EVERYDAY, rain, sleet, hail, snow, of any changes.

If you can help it don't take her! I took her twice, the second time getting a D. The bad thing is if you have to take 2002, you may have no choice, usually she's the only online teacher for the course, however it may be better if you take her in a full semester course rather than a half or summer one. It's too much work in a short time period!

DO NOT TAKE HER. She's a hard grader, and does not explain anything. For our major project, it took her three days to respond.. When she responded, it was already the due date. Also, she's likely to assign everything on one day so do not procrastinate!

It's a rough class if you're aren't already good at Spanish. Dates are a bit hard to follow, there's an exam/quiz/test/writing assignment per lesson, a movie review, two major projects, and more. That was for a half semester class. Must log in daily because discussion posts (about 10-20 a week) can't all be done on the same days. Take class alone.

Very hard class. Her syllabus and due dates can be unorganized so pay close attention to due dates (they may vary depending on where you look). Expect a much heavier course load from 2001. We had to do a 10 minute presentation with audio using Spanish sources. There is some group work. Don't procrastinate. Don't take another summer class with it.

I took her Intermediate Spanish I class online and it was unnecessarily tedious! The lectures are long and tiresome, and the quizzes are equally long, even asking about the name of governors in South America instead of sticking to strictly Spanish vocab and grammar. Beware that her testsexams allow you continue past the time limit but you'll fail!

What kind of teacher posts past web lectures and doesn't offer any live so we must learn from her past teaching and instead of having her own videos she links us to spanishdictionarycom you tube videos. This lady is the worst. Should have read these first

If only I had taken the opportunity to read this professor's ratings prior to taking her course. She is an unkind, cold-hearted individual who has no business in the teaching profession. If you have difficulty understanding the material, don't expect to receive a reply from her. If you're not a Spanish major, she'll kill your love of the language.
