A previous poster said it best, "He will not let you fail if you don't want to". I started out poorly but he talked to me and now I'm finishing with a B. He really knows how to teach a concept. He's a total dork as even he'll admit but not a bad guy. Prepare to work hard, very hard!

Great Professor, told it like it was, made class very interesting and not boring. Very easy to approach. Knows his stuff. Made you accountable. Examples were great gave you a number of them at different levels. Trying to finish the rest of my math requirements with him as a professor.

Dockter was an AMAZING teacher! Math has always been one of my worst classes, but within the first week of taking his class, so many concepts I was confused on were made clear! He is a very nice guy, easy to talk to, and I just love the enthusiasm he brings to class! A really great teacher!!!! He got me to like math more!

Teaching a summer class seemed to cause him to talk too fast to follow well. His experience teaching higher level math, made him seem to forget the students'lesser experience. He is sarcastic. He would work thru examples but not explain what he was doing in each step or why. I chose him from this site - use caution when relying on others comments

This teacher is alright, but the class is high maintence & he makes it worse by making students do computer math that takes many hours. I do not recomend taking math 99 with this teacher though I would take any other class with him. Tests are very fair.
