Comment:
Professor Seih was straightforward and exams and quizzes were based on lecture notes only. Casual, conversational lecture style and easy if studying notes. Unfortunately, he would post all lecture notes online, so attendance was not incentivized.

Teaches the material very simply which is a good thing, almost impossible to get a hold of, grades fairly throughout the course except for the final exam.

Doesn't spoon feed, but guides you in the right direction. Easy class if you study .focuses on implementation rather than basic theory . Took robot vision and intelligent systens with him . Initially felt he's lost but soon enough stuff makes sense

Unorganized slides, unorganized lecture, unorganized talk, took lots of quizzes while none of them benefit on your final score, maybe he did not record the grades of quizzes, asked you to do extra credit work but also not considered in your final score. I've learned nothing!!! That's why I am so angry!!!

offered a fair amount of practical experience but doesn't generally teach this course. He tries to involve the students in the class. I would take him again.

He is a Warlock. He has the power to suck life force directly from the heart. Side effects may include: sleeping, fainting, and rarely even death. If you're in therapy don't go to class because you might kill yourself.

I will agree that the difficult problems made our class learn much more and made us understand the subject better, but his grades don't add up. If you want to lower your GPA while learning beyond what you would normally learn, take this class. But if you care about grade, he is an unfair jerk.

He makes his own problems for us to solve. However, he can't sometimes solve his own ones. He sometimes put on some dummy and confused questions that almost everyone can't figure out which is the correct way to answer his questions.

His class can be tough if you dont pay attention, but do your work and take notes and you will take more from this class than probably any other ECE class you have. Khafman(old 273 teach) was bad, and his former students cant do what we do.

He created practice problems for us all the time, which I felt was above and beyond the call of duty and his lectures were clear.

Excellent professor; his lectures are clear and well structured, and he had a PSpice demo for every one. We had weekly reports and quizzes; the reports were easy but took a long time to write, and the quizzes were easy if you did the report.

Great lectures. If it wasnt for Larry Sieh and Itani I would have thought that ALL CIS teachers at U of M Dearborn chose the wrong job. He EXPLAINS and you UNDERSTAND. Too bad that he doesn't teach more classes. Bruce and Tsui should look up to this guy.
