Overall, professor Waszak is a really nice guy. His lectures are long and heavy and often gets off topic. It's sometimes hard to know when he's lecturing and when he's off topic. As far as notes go, you won't need them in order to pass the midterm and final. Both are definition tests and an easy in class essay. His grading is easy and is lenient.

Very borning class but easy at the same time. He gives 3 essays a mid term and final. Both have study guides....if you memorize that youll do fine. I took it in the fall and went to class 10 times. You will fall asleep, but the grading of the essays is very chill. I got A's on all and got a B in the class.

The class was very interesting to those who like analyzing history; but if you show no interest then the class can get boring. I personally loved this class. However the class can get difficult because it's only out of 100 points, so each point lost is a percent (although he gives an extra credit assignement). But Professor Waszak is amazing !

ok so i dreaded going to his class i even wanted to drop! but! looking back it was easy. i took it over a short session. i left everyday at break. for his tests he gives a study guide. memorize everthing on there and ull do great! i failed the first test, and got an A on the second one. i def didnt deserve a B but i got one! take him! hes so easy!

The class is pretty intersting and there is no homework.. only 3 papers, midterm and final. The material is interesting, but he is monotone so sometimes you tend to fall asleep. If you study and read, then its not bad at all...oh and he talks alot so prepare to take a lot of notes! Overall hes okay.

an A is definately manageable in this class. he gives 7 extra credit points n the whole class is out of a 100. there are 2 essays, 1 midterm, and a final, which he gives a study list for both. overall it was a good easy class. only one suggestion: mr. leon give yourself a break. dont overwork yourself. rest and relax a bit. <3!

I just took him over the intersession.I got an A without the text(not sure if i would recommend trying that though haha)he gives study guides before the tests.the tests you had to write 5 definitions outta your choice of 10 words, then an essay question of your choice from 3 questions.If you make flashcards based off the study list you'll do great!

People!! don't listen to any of negative comments. Dr. Waszak is the best teacher ever. he is very nice and helpful. I took all my History classes with him and got an A on all of them. the classes are very easy to pass if you just put a little effort. I LOVE YOU DR. WASZAK. YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!

This professor is a conservative so if u r a liberal, do not let him know!He loves Frederick the Great, W.Churchill and old films. Gives alot of detail in lectures so important to take alot of notes. Monotone voice.
