Classes put the room to sleep. Barely speaks any English and his lectures do nothing. Assigns homework he doesn't grade, and it's a good thing because they are nothing like the stuff you do in class. Tests are entirely too long but he gives a pretty accurate study guide that is similar to the tests.

I'm currently enrolled in calc 1 because I like to challenge myself. All I needed was basic calc, but I'm glad I took li guo. The subject in itself is hard. So if you don't now your Pre cal, good luck in general. His speech is fine. If you don't speak English then maybe he is hard to understand, but I u type lik dis, how u gunna say he speaks bad?

i had him for basic calc and college algebra and prof guo is by far the best teacher ever! Every problem on the exam and quizzes are from the homework. I dont know why people complain about having a quiz every week cause the quizzes are very helpful. Overall an easy A if you plan on doing your homework and keeping up with the material.

I went to the TA every week for extra help a lot and still didn't pass. Guo is a good prof, but the material is pretty tough. Doing the homework online helps but it's a lot of work.

Extremely easy A! Theres a recitation class and quiz every week on Friday but the questions are straightforward and his exams are very easy well..Just do all the homework from the text and you will recieve an A!

He doesn't allow students to use calculators- which is a littler obsurd at this level of education. His english is very, very poor! He always makes mistakes while teaching in class and is very unorganized.

Awesome professor, really passionate about math. He goes all out to make sure you understand the material. Once you do the HW from the text and follow his examples you'll pass this class. He gives a quiz every week which are very straight fwd.

This is one of the worst professors at Rutgers, he has a really thick accent to begin with, which would be fine, if he could teach, but he can't. I got a B+ on his class, but is b/c i busted my ass studying on my own. Don't take him for numerical take Randall.
