HORRIBLE. She refuses to help out in office hours, claiming that she doesn't have the time. Won't answer student questions, lecture notes are useless, long exams little time to complete, quizzes are unnecessarily difficult. OUTDATED syllabus. Wants stoichometry done HER way. No partial credit for answers. BAD ATTITUDE. Difficult to understand.

The only option for taking chemistry at UCLA extension and she is incomprehensible. It is difficult to understand what she says and she makes MANY errors in writing on the board/on tests and fails to make those changes clear (once someone corrects her). Her teaching consists of reading out of the book and doing problems, not actual concepts

Just all-around horrible. Can't answer questions, in or out of class. Never helped during office hours. Does not prepare students for department final. I'm an A student and I had a high B in the class, but after the department final I got a D. Take it with Mike Strauthearn, if you try he'll care about you. It's more work but you'll actually learn.

I was doing well throughout the semester. My average before the exam was an A, but after taking the department test my grade dropped. She does not prepare you for the final exam at all. I learned off of the book. If you are going to be taking chem. 11,12, i advise you to take it with Toumari. BTW: HER LECTURES ARE EXTREMELY BORING!

Just because she got a divorce last year, doesn?t mean she has to take it out on her students. (chem. 10 is easy, but she makes the subject into foreign language). I really tired to pay attention in class, but her accent gets in the way.

SHES COOL, BUT A HARD CHEM PROFESSOR. NOT AN EASY A IF YOU DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT CHEMISTRY OR IF YOU HAVE NOT TAKEN CHEM IN A LONG TIME. She's super easy for Chem 10! She doesnt give hw. She has quizes, multiple choice tests and labs. If you're good at math, this class is a breeze. In the first week of class she went over conversions and scientific notation. TOO EASY. She sometimes lets you out early. Definitely recommending her for a short semester. It is soo easy. An easy A

she is a persian woman with a heavy accent but she is WONDERFUL. she has a PhD degree and is SUCH a smart woman. many say she makes things harder than they actually are, but i completely disagree. her tests are SO straightforward. becomes best friends with your chem book and you will totally be fine for the final exam. thanks Dr. Masoudipour!!!!!!!

her exams are easy and heavily math related but that doesn't matter because your grade depends on the department final. i got an A because i literally spent four hours a day studying for chem and basically TAUGHT MYSELF. find a teacher that will prepare you for the department exam, but her quizzes and exams are easy. horrible at explaining though.
