If you are not an art major plan on getting a C. You can attend every class, do every homework assignment, show improvement and effort and you will still get a C. She does not teach you how to draw. I also spent over $300. for supplies not counting renting the book. You really don't use the book too.

She is inspirational and I learned more from her than any other professor at that awful school. The "favorites" she played was with anyone who actually made an effort. I was a Graphic Designer and I was a favorite. If you try, she loves you. PERIOD.

She does play favorites i dont care what anyone says. Regardless if you are talented or not (which i am)she doesnt like you unless you are an art major. So unless her classes are required to you, DO NOT take them. She is rather stuck up and TOTALLY unfair. She thinks her students should not have a life outside of art and she hates you if you do.

FNA and GRA seem to be at each others throats a lot at Cabrini. Before I met Lisa I was very uptight with my drawing. I would look at my big blank paper on my easle and actually feel petrified that one line would just ruin it. I know it sounds completely silly, but it's true. She taught me a lot about fine arts and I really respect that and I respect her. I'm not the best artist, but I did try and when she saw I was trying she'd always comment with a suggestion or a compliment and that really motivated me.

Any class taught by this woman or her husband should be completely cherished, amazing woman, amazing man, inpiration to everyone WHO ACTUALLY TRIES in art class, which is where favorites would apply, if you are uninterested in art, you will not do well, if you are a graphic designer such as myself (SEAN FOGEL) and you think art will not help you, u will not do well, take a look at the way people design, color choices, balance, fact: every professor at eveyr school finds it necessary except ours...goodnigh

she is so supportive and really a true inspiration to an artist with talent but needing the push to be better and show your talents. without her, my art career would not be as enriched as it is today.
