Great professor his lectures are very clear and easy to understand the test are just like the homework so do your homework. He is very understanding I struggled with ptsd and he allowed me to makeup work (not exams) wish I could take him for calculus 2 but she isnt teaching it this spring so I you need calc 1 take him you wont regret it the best!

Prof Rotando was a fantastic teacher! I had barely moved in from the remedial math classes but I made it to Calc 1, and I must say he made math fun. Now, I enjoy math enough to tutor it (though not calc!) and every time a friend asks me which Calc professor they should take, I always recommend him. Seriously, take him!

A gem of a professor. Good humored, good natured. Sometimes I worried that the class was too easy. He's old and sometimes hard to hear but nobody would talk through his class. Very likable and encouraging. Take his calculus class if given the chance. If you fail it's definitely on you.

Prof. Rotando is an excellent professor. He makes sure every concept is crystal clear. He distributes answer packets to all problem, according to chapter, from the text book. Tests are more than fair as he portrays everything on the test before hand through hw & review. Take him.

You need to take Professor Rotando's Calculus course. Entering this class, I LOATHED everything math and just wanted to get it over with. OMG Rotando is the man! Such a nice/funny guy...so good at explaining calculus. makes the difficult concepts easy. lets you bring notes to the test. only counts your highest questions. drops the lowest quiz grade. lots of extra credit. makes himself really available to students. doesn't use blackboard. like a seinfeld character!

Definitely a great teacher to take if you have the chance. Explains everything well and is always helpful. Even let me borrow a book for the semester then gave it as a gift at the end. Test are straight from hw and your allowed to use notes on test. Didnt even need to take final if all test are above 90 avg. If you get a chance, take him.

THE BESTEST PROF !! I LOVE HIM HE'S EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND CRYSTAL CLEAR.His exams are not hard if u keep up with him . ur allowed to bring sheets of paper full of notes to the exam and any handout he gives during the semester. I Loved him hes amazing. TAKE HIM

I love Professor Rotando! I have never done that well in math and was dreading calculus.. and I got an A in Calculus I because of him. He is so helpful and so encouraging. And absolutely adorable! Funniest man, ugh I could go on an on. Most definitely reccomend him!
