she is a very tough grader, but she loves when students go see her in WAC or her office hours and she really helps a lot when you do . she is very strict and picky about everything. we did not use the grammar book at all this semester so do not waste your money. also she really does not teach much . just assigns essays. if you apply yourself A.

She was a sweet lady but I do not recommend this class. She doesn't allow a lot of talking and phone using in the class. Also very picky. Take attendance seriously . Since she is very picky with how she wants things done, an A is not easily given.

If you want a teacher to slap a grade on your paper without helping you, don't take this class, but if you want to learn something I recomend Prof Case. She starts out tough but once she gets to know your class she's awesome. I enjoy her classes and she's helpful, you just have to put forth the effort.

I Don't recommend taking this class at all. Prof. Case is a sweet lady, but definitely the toughest grader. She will mark you down for every little thing, gets snippy pretty easily. I'm probably going to end up having to retake this class with a different professor because she's so difficult. DON'T DO IT.

Comment:

Lynda's classes are not for those who just want to be given a grade. I had her for ENGWR 300, and she does expect a lot of work, but she has office hours for help. Prof. Case expects students to address her prompts in the assignments, and she expects well organized essays that offer clear analysis and explanation. She is a bit liberal but fair.

She is very intelligent. You cannot pass her class if you skip a paper. Take full advantage of the resources on campus to help polish your papers. She is by the book so watch for plagiarism. Very sweet, but don't cross her.

Tells people to visit her office if they need help which is nice but there is always a line to see her and everyone wants their papers looked at right before she has her next class. She goes by the book and will return your paper without a grade if not done correctly. If you don't get your work looked at by a professional, you will likely fail.

She is a sweet southern lady, but she can be feisty if you cross her! She does like things her way & is very opinionated. If you go to her office hours she will help you & you will get a good grade on your paper. Take advantage of this. I would take her again! During the class you will make relationships with people because she loves groups.

I absolutely loved Case and still do. She is a very tough professor, but she cares about her students future. She grades at a college level and nothing less. If you want to succeed take her, if you don't, run away.

really confusing teacher, shes very picky and treats the class like a high school class, very unnecessary. And tends to pick on some students. Highly recommend you not to take her class. Horrible professor, her assistant David is a better teacher than her!

Professor Case is very political. Be prepared to discuss economic and political issues in her class. I went to her several times for feedbackhelp and sometimes it helped other times I was more confused. Although she says she doesn't grade based on whether she agrees with you or not, I disagree!

Prof. Case is not as bad as some people say. It does take a few weeks to get used to the way she runs her class but overall I enjoyed it. She can be a bit of a hard-grader but will always go over on what you can improve. As long as you're serious about putting in the effort; you'll enjoy her class. Learned more in her class than any other so far.

Worest professor at ARC and needs to retire fast. I'm in her Monday Wednesday class spring 2014 and at the beginning of semester we had over 35 students and with two weeks left in the semester their is about ten of us left. I put hard work into all my essays and I get a zero every time so F the last essay I'll just take 102 with a different teacher

Lynda runs her class like a upper division college course; there is no gliding by, you have to do the work. She is the most open and helpful prof I have had; she really wants you to succeed. I am so glad I had her for 300! I easily aced future classes that called for critical and analytical because of her class. Lynda is an EXECLLENT Prof.!!!

She is a hard professor, but means well. At first i thought i wouldn't care for her, then i learned to love her ways. She means well and expects all students to act as adults. we are in college and there is no need to have our asses wiped anymore. All who give her a bad rating is not a serious student and, or expect their hands held and ass wiped.

I would try to avoid taking her! he is the worst teacher that I ever had. she comes up with crazy thoughts when she grades papers that has nothing to do with your topic. DO NOT put your own opinion! she will tell you that you are wrong.. write in her opinion and you will get better grades. HORRIBLE Teacher

This professor never makes herself clear enough. She gives out a lot of zeros on essays. She is very politically based. She is a really hard professor. Everytime I write my essay I litteraly cry, and then i cry once more when I see my grade. Please don't take her class. Take my word for it.
