His icollege has over 1,000 tabs, it's confusing & very unorganized. You literally can't review everything & don't know what to study bc it's so much. He uses 4 different textbooks so the chapters don't go together. The extra credit saved me. 65 points for lecture, 55 points for lab. He uses lockdown browser with camera, took his lab & lecture

He's very focused on his lectures but I think he does way too much. His icollege page is often crowded and confusing. He gives all of the homework for the semester at once, so beware of procrastinating. His tests can be stressful because of the lockdown browser watching your every move. But he's pretty okay. You can survive it.

This prof has the students teach the class basically. You will get into groups, your group will go over the assigned section of the chapter and BOOM teach the class what you taught yourself. Expects you to know chem before you take the class and speeds over lectures. BE aware

I only took this class because he had great reviews but WRONG idea. This man expects you to know everything about chemistry before you enter his class. If you want to teach yourself everything, feel free to take this class. All exams were monitored online exams that didnt cover material we did in class and the final was in class. Please BEWARE!

I took Dr. Atteya for Chem 1151 and I got an A. I am extremely happy to be able to take his class again for Chem 1152. The test are all online and in class quizzes. He also give extra credit. Very good teacher and funny guy.

Let me start by saying TAKE HIS CLASS! It was a very easy A. Many extra credit opportunities and has online tests and quizzes (my personal favorite). I had such a hard time with chemistry until I toke his class. I recommend him to all my fellow easy A seekers.

Dr Atteya was a wonderful instructor! he is very clear on what he wants. all exams are online except the final. be prepared for 3 major group presentations. He responses back to messages fast. he's also very funny. Definitely made chemistry a lot more interesting

First of all, he is a very funny guy. He also understands that students have lives outside of school. He is available to go over material with you during office hours . I took him online and in person and he was communicative throughout. His extra credit for writing chapter summaries is genius because you will know the material. Highly recommend.

Professor Atteya is the man! Take his online class if you get a chance. He posts alot of supplemental material to help students. Quizzes and exams make up the majority of your grade. Some of these answers are on google ;) He also gives extra credit. Nice guy. Took him for Chem 1 & 2 and did well in both. Glad I came across him during my education.

Class is okay lots of extra credit and reasonable exams. This is Introductory Chemistry that study molecules and it has nothing to do with a REAL Organic Chemistry I and II !! This is the lowest elementary level chem. studying the basic molecules where among other there are some organic molecules not organic chemistry !!

I know many of you are reading the previous reviews and contemplating on taking this class, my simple and humble advice is NO! I was once like you but this class happens to be a nightmare. I compared his quizzes and exams with a friend of mine taking a diff professor and this instructor's questions are 5x tougher. This is Org Chem not Gen Chem RUN!

GREAT TEACHER!! HE PROVIDES EXTRA CREDIT AND PLUS HE GIVES STUDENTS PLENTY OF TIME WITH THE HW WHICH IS DUE AT THE END OF THE SEMESTER. I GOT AN A FOR LECTURE AND LAB. Took prof Atteya online. there are 5 exams and 2 quizzes before each exam. Although the links are outdated they are helpful in understanding the material for each chapter. He offers extra credit that you SHOULD take advantage of no matter what your grade is. The final was OMG but hey chemistry isnt easy. Quizzes, exams, homeworka & extra credit.
