Former President of the Engineering Institute of Canada, the Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering. His track record is awe-inspiring (available on UOIT website). Lectures are engaging, and you can tell he is an expert in his field by the way he articulates the course material, and inserts his own experiences and ideas.

Marc is really good at keeping the class engaged. Even though the class he taught was really easy and even though the content was dry he was still able to engage the class. Very enthusiastic about teaching.

He is the most organized, well-behaved, and professional prof I have had. Not too too friendly, not too cold. Not too hard, certainly not too easy! Not too fast, not too slow! I would take his courses again.
