No book needed for the course! His tests can be a little tricky, but they are nothing to stress over. Just make sure to pay attention and take good notes, he lets you use them on your tests. No homework either, so it requires an honest effort and you should receive a high grade. History isn't "fun", but he made it tolerable!

Great professor. His lectures are scripted but easy to follow. Tape the lecture for review of your notes and you will do well on your tests. All tests are based on lecture only no need for the textbook except for reference. No essay questions on tests. For first test learn definition of apologetic and you will get that one right!

Very nice man. Tests based on lectures, no need for book. You can even use your notes on the tests. 4 tests, 1 easy essay. My one complaint: Many people came in late EVERY day, as much as an hour late. It's distracting when people are continuously walking in during the lecture, I wish Mr. Wyndham cracked down on them.

His lectures are long and you have to take a lot of notes, but as long as you pay attention and don't miss class, the tests are pretty easy. There is no homework. I enjoyed his class both times. never bought the book. you don't need it. Bring a tape recorder and play the lectures back before your test.

Wyndham was a good professor. His lectures are not too engaging but not terribly boring either. He's a very nice guy and will help you out if you need it. Don't buy the book, you won't use it. He lets you use a study guide on his tests. I doubt anybody who has actually tried has failed any of his classes. A certifiably easy A.

You won't need to purchase the textbook, as all the tests are from his lectures. He's really straight forward, so even if you're only 1 point away from a higher grade, just accept what you get, because he'll tell you from the get go. You can use 1 page of notes with your test (I suggest using a laptop in class to type your notes).

Doesn't require book. Doesn't require you to come to class BUT his tests are based on his lectures. Totally monotone voice but you can record the lecture and listen later. Provides extra credit. Use notes on test...Taking him again for Hist 102 :) Easy if you take notes. If not, you're in trouble!

Really interesting course, great teacher. Class is super simple. 4 tests, he gives study guides each meeting and allows use of notes (1 sheet). No mid-term or final. Just the tests and a simple paper. I loved his lectures, he's really knowledgeable and still very interested in his subject. I'm definitely taking HIST 106 with him!

Awesome class. Does not use the book, 4 tests, entirely from lectures. lets you rewrite your notes onto his form and use on the test. one paper on a movie and you have all semest. to do it. he is funny, kind of dry humor so you have to pay attention to catch it. all in all a pretty entertaining class, just have to be willing to show up to get an A.

I really enjoyed his class and regret not taking HIST 101 with him. There are only 4 Exams and 1 term paper. Its a straight lecture class. I strongly recommend you record the lectures. It boosted my exam grades. Attendence is not mandatory. Overall, an outstanding professor who's very cordial and student friendly.

Monotone. Typical history professor. Nonpartisan. He is really helpful, no need for textbook, tests are wholly from lectures. Gives essay final which can be based on a book or movie. Relatively difficult class in that you MUST take a lot of notes andpay attention because dates are important.
