Professor Wagner is so insightful and understanding. She is constantly offering assistance and clarification to any confused students. She is so generous and caring and I have endless amounts of respect for her and her particular teaching method. I would definitely recommend her to anyone, whether they excel or struggle with literary appreciation.

Amazing teacher. Very encouraging and helpful. Mrs. Wagner definitely wants every student to succeed and she will do everything possible to ensure that you understand the material. That being said, you absolutely must put effort into your papers. She enjoys reading thoughtful analysis, not mindless prattle. She is kind and inspiringly passionate.

Mrs. Wagner is not merely an excellent professor, but a truly wonderful person in practically every aspect. She possesses such a benevolent disposition and is anything but condescending. She strongly values every individual opinion and you never feel obligated to conform to her personal ideas. Absolutely lovely teacher. Impossible not to like.

One of the best teachers I have ever had. And to the person who said she plays favorites, it was my first semester having her and I didn't do to great on the first paper. I went to her and talked about it, though. What she said was helpful and I did much better on the next papers. Ended up with an A in her class.

Dr. Wagner is one of the best English teachers I have ever had the opportunity to have. She really cares about her students, her attitude is always positive. No tests, about 5 or 6 essays, and a big research paper towards the end. Can't wait to take her for ENC 1102!
