Comment:

Has a fascinating stance on feminism. The essays and reading are a pain, but not bad. Plenty of extra credit opportunities. My only complaint would be her unprofessional demeanor. Was absent 7 days out in a semester period, with 4 classes being cancelled. Otherwise an intelligent, funny professor.

Extremely unprepared, she was late to i think every class. Cusses too much, it went past being casual. All she does is talk, for the whole period. No visuals, just talking. I would say 30% of her talking is lecture and the rest about her self. Dreaded her class and she clearly did not want to be there either. Don't take her or DROP ASAP.

She is a force to be reckoned with. If you've an opinion, prepare to back it up. Very knowledgeable, willing to help, ALWAYS fair. Class discussions can get off topic and interesting, but that's the fun part because it gets everyone thinking. Likes to challenge students. Papers are clear and posted in advance. If you can't handle her, grow a pair.

Comment:

Doctor Fraser is the coolest teacher I have ever had. She is so interesting and funny, I always look forward to her class. I love the way she teaches, she does not assign busy work, but has a outline of many different projects and you have to do a certain amount of them. I liked psych before her class but now I am obsessed! LOVE her!

I had her twice for psychology 1 than 14. She's very entraining and kept me interested in class. However, she does rambles on about different subjects, but at least she has take home exams. Some questions on the exam, I don't even remember her ever going over in lectures. Just put in effort, and you'll get a decent grade. I got a B+ both times.

DO NOT TAKE HONORS!!!! The regular class only has to write 2 essays, the honors section has to write 11 total and it's such a waste of time. She goes on long rants that have absolutely nothing to do with anything and then wonders why she ran out of time to talk about things she needed to. This class misses fundamental theory but you learn APA.

She used us as guinea pigs to experiment a new assignment that nobody, including her, knew what to do.Her exams are weird,90% of the qs are never discussed in class, then she wonders why everyone got Cs on her tests.How to learn, if she won't even give you the test answrs.She is rude, vulgar & extremely unhelpful. MADE ME LOSE MY INTEREST IN PSYCH!

NOT helpful at all! She always talks about things not related to the topic. Instead, she talks about her students that she coaches on her swimming class. Nobody cares! And she's TOTALLY rude to the students, especially when it comes to religion. She acts like God, basically. One more thing, she is always LATE. Seriously, DO NOT TAKE HER!

1st day of class, she showed up 40 mins late. Kept babbling abt her 5 master degrees and phd from USC, who cares?! Almost every single sentence that came out from her mouth included the word "fuxk" or "sh!t". Her job shd be professional but she shows no professionalism. goes off topic almost everyday of class, challenges others'religions...tbc

She is an absolutely wonderful teacher. You learn A LOT, and everything she discusses is relevant, so don't miss class even though she does not take roll. I definitely got a lot tougher after this class, so this class is not for overly sensitive people. DO all the readings and you'll be fine. I loved this class and this teacher!

Clarity is an issue. She will never admit she is wrong, even if the answer is not in the book or if the whole class got the answer wrong. Her attendance policy is very liberal. Even she comes in late and calls in often. ORGANIZATION: Lack of is the best responce. She will rewrite a test after she assigns it and answers won't be distinctive or clear

when you ask question, be sure to be offended at any point. when you e-mail her for help, be sure to be, "Huh? so that's it?" She makes you to think by your self. She doesn't answer you in direct way. If you work hard, you will learn to write in APA format and that's it for this class. There are lots of interesting discussions.

This teacher is full of herself and instead of encouraging you to learn, she does the complete opposite and makes you feel stupid. She is very rude and is never willing to help you out on the lame assignments that she hands out. I should've dropped the class when I first started. =[

Dr. Fraser is wonderful teacher. This class is not for the weak or people who want an easy grade. You have to put in the time at home. Just do what she says and you'll be fine. I don't even have a grade yet but I know I did well. I would def. take another class of her.
