Comment:
Uses his own class notes that he constantly keeps revising and sending out updates to fix typos and errors. The notes don't explain the fundamentals in a simple to understand way and the examples are pretty useless. Dr. Field does have a lot of passion for this stuff so that's really nice to see. A really nice guy but doesn't quite connect.

Great professor, wasn't the easiest class, but the homework helped a lot, very lenient on his grading. At the end of the year i had felt i had learned a lot. Overall its a difficult course if your no good at proofs, but he will be basically let you know whats on the test. So he's a good professor, will take him again if possible.

Probably the most annoying professor I have had. Stood in front of the board, had illegible writing, and mumbled a lot. He generally did not follow the book and totally left it at multiple integrals and partial derivatives. Didn't conduct his own review and didn't recommend departmental one.

HEs ok. Just remember to write his examples. ITs usually on the tests. Other than that read the cal 3 book during lectures. Thats what i did. Also do the HW. practice it until you got it, and youll make an A.

Terrible English accent. Couldn't teach a student in lecture or one on one. Worst math teacher experience in school (including all foreign professors).
