This is a required class for associates degree. I took the course on line. Prof. Ratna was very engaged with the students. There was required discussions which were graded. You had to participate more than one time. As long as you follow the directions you can get an A. There is a good number of assignments. They are not hard!

I took Professor Ratna for Col101. The lectures were very boring in part because the material itself but because she sometimes went off subject. Other than than she is very caring and obviously loves her job and helping her students. Take her class for an easy A.

I took the online course which wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The assignments were pretty easy, but there's a lot of reading. The course also had similar work to some of my Psych work. It helped me with both courses and also helped to prepare to become a better student.

For a one credit class, it has enough work to be three credits. I would be scared to death if I had to take a three credit class with Ratna. The amount of work and tough grading for a one credit class is ridiculous. Its almost like she forgets that students have full time jobs and 5 other classes to maintain.

I had Professor Ratna for 2 online classes. She always answered my emails, took part in the student discussions, and even would extend the due dates for Modules when asked. She was so helpful! Beware though; you need to keep up on the work and study hard for the quizzes and tests; they can be challenging!

This was one of the best teachers by far. I took the online class for spring semester. The teacher is clear on the coursework and responds very quick if you have a concern I highly recommend taking any class with professor ratna.

Prof Ratna is very easy. She likes to talk ALOT and it can be very boring and the seminar course is required but is more of common sense type of class which some students need for maturing anyway. She posts the work online also - quizzes and tests are all easy. She says the wod "Ok or "uh-huh" a lot and to me its so funny because of her accent.
