A good professor that is passionate about sociology. There are weekly assignment questions, one weekly discussion question and four exams. Keep up with the work and read the text chapters and you will be fine. I enjoyed the class. He is a good guy.

I just finished taking Zalloua's online sociology class. He's a great professor, reading is required in order to pass the class being that his test are difficult. I highly recommend him, I enjoyed the class a lot.

Attendance is very important in his class. He is a good teacher but his test are kind of hard. He gives quizzes every week on the upcoming chapter and he asks the most random questions, so you have to read everything word for word and hope that you remember everything you read. He doesn't give extra credit so you better be a good test taker.

I really enjoy Prof. Zalloua. People that didn't like his class are not ready for college. He's strict and expects you to take responsibility for your work and knowledge. READ READ READ your text book, it's imparitive! Dont understand how people got less then a B in his class. He doesnt hand out easy grades.Just do your damn work and you'll do fine

I really enjoyed his class. Most people had a problem with him giving a weekly quiz before he himself reviews the chapter; but if you read your text book and are ready for the class that day, then you'll do fine. People don't like that fact that he makes you take personal responsiblity to your work and reading.Just be prepaired for class.He's cool

He does not take constructive criticism well. Not willing to help his students. If you want to get a good grade, stay on his good side. Weekly quizzes given before he goes over the chapter. A lot of students dropped a few weeks into the class. Very unprofessional! Take someone else if you're serious about SOC110.

This class was great and it will be great for those who are well adapted to actually reading their textbooks. Also, his purpose in giving quizes prior to talking about the chapters is to assess whether you've read the material or not. Besides the reading requirements, this is a great class with very foundational subject matter. It changed my life.

He is a great teacher and is always telling jokes. He makes the class interesting. He gives quizzes every week on each chapter before he goes over it. However, the quizzes aren't that bad and they didn't effect my grade that much. His exams are really easy, just make sure you study his lecture notes.

Mounir is a GREAT Teacher. He really cares about his students, as well as the grade you get in class. There is a quiz on every chapter, kind of hard, so you have to read the chapter. All Test are in relation to his notes, so study. He also just had study groups the day before class so he tells what questions are on the test! Totally worth taking!

Easy class. quizzes were hard, so you have to read the chapter. you must have a legitimate reason for being absent. i was dropped with 5 weeks left in the class because i was absent for a personal reason, and i told him it was personal and that was not good enough. so i was dropped. very rude when you miss one day of class.

Perhaps the most inquisitive I've ever felt in a classroom. This is the best teacher ever. I highly suggest you force your way into this class if it doesn't fit your schedule. I don't think Sociology would be the same if I had taken it with someone else.

Mounir is one of the best teachers I have had. Also teaches at Cuyamaca. There are 4 major tests and a quiz (14 total) for the beginning of every chapter. The Quizzes are on the tough side but only 5 questions, you need 3/5 to pass them. Just read the chapter and yodo fine with them. Attendance policy, 2 misses & you're dropped. Take him he's fun

Mounir is a very animated teacher that challenged my lifelong philosophies on numerous topics. Lecture is stimulating and entertaining. The class requires a lot of time for studying. Quizzes are tough, tests are fair and plenty of extra credit is given. Study for quizzes and know the material. I highly recommend him!!!
