He tells his classes that his students are disrupted if you leave the class, and has a fit if you have to excuse yourself. Online, he refuses to do online lectures and opts for unrealistically long notes we must take to do the teaching for him. These notes are graded and take hours to do. Absolutely ridiculous professor.

I love Muller! Suck it up and do the work - you're in college!! His classes are way more enjoyable when students are willing to discuss the material and ask questions! He loves when students show interest in a topic! Very knowledgable guy and always gives extra credit opportunities!! (I've had him 4 times, trust me on this stuff!)

He's horrible. He's just rude. If you leave the room to go to the bathroom during class he makes a big scene. He changes what is expected of you so many times. Like we took two tests on the same material and he didn't count either of them. Reading quizzes are open notes but because of that he picks out the dumbest details to quiz you on.

For starters he's really rude. He gives long reading assignments and there's a quiz every class day. He's very strict with the use of phones and laptops in his class. The class is a difficult class if you don't take notes and do the readings.

gotta love all the people that took his intro classes saying hes not hard. he is the worst of the worst. 10-20 pg reading assignment, 5 ? quiz EVERY CLASS. detailed questions. ridiculous midterm and cum. final. ridiculous paper specificationsthis guys got too much time on his hands. your semester will be hell taking his class. get ready to stress.

Dr. Muller is awesome! People who don't do well in the class simply don't read and take notes. Reading and note taking for his class takes awhile but it is worth it because of weekly open note quizzes

Took his Sociology Inquiry class and before entering this semester got all A's in sociology, this class has now gotten me questioning myself if I even want to do Sociology anymore. Avoid him or you will have anxiety all semester.

Have tests almost every day and they are not easy. He hates when people get up and leaves the class he also will stop class and point out someone who is texting. He knows what hes talking about and offten forgets that the class doesnt. If you dont have to take the class i wouldnt.

Expect monotone classes, hes a very nice man who deeply cares about the subject he teaches. Of all the professors I can only say Dr. Muller is the TRUE sociologist, however he is HARD, expect quizes, mandatory classes, he tries to help as much as possible but you have to try just as hard.

Quizes from journal articles every week. Class participation is a third of your grade so be active. The 10 page single space paper takes a while so give yourself a couple of weeks to devote a lot of time to it to have a quality paper. He is more lenient on active classes. We convienced him to watch the Gran Torino and apply the movie to the class

quiz every week, but if you read the text and take good notes you will be good. he lets you take the tests open notes. Also good attendence he likes and class participation. Professor Muller gives quizzes just about every week, but they are open notebook quizzes. It's hard though to know what exactly to take notes on from the book. Go to class, pay attention, take notes, and you'll do alright.

drop it if you can-gives quizzes daily before you learn the material. extremely boring-its a shame attendance is mandatory because every class you almost walk out the door. hes too smart for what hes doing and just does not make sense sometimes. If you do not need it, DO NOT TAKE IT!
