The lectures are unbearable. Dont know how I made it through the semester. Tests are reasonable, she grades assignments really harshly for grammar and spelling, which seems irrelevant.

Comment:

Nancy was a great professor! I took her Humanities I 16-week lecture and it was one of the easiest classes I have taken. You have quizzes every time you meet but there is extra credit available on every one of them. Just Show up, listen and take notes on her lectures, study quizzes for exam practice and you will finish with an A.

She grades participation by having a pop quiz EVERY DAY. The E-Book is the one required by TCC but she is awful about helping or answering any questions about the e-book. Lectures are mostly picture filled power-points that you do not get access to. If you do not read and research on your own, you WILL NOT PASS.

Comment:

Professor Resnick is very knowledgeable. Classes are almost always lectures & her teaching style is fairly straight-forward. Quizzes take place in the first 10 minutes of every class. If you listen, show up on time, and study for the exams, you will do well. If you need help and take the time to talk to her, you'll find she's nice & understanding.

She was an awful teacher. Expected us to take all tests on our own time as well as a lot of "visiting" places outside of class. Quizzes everyday so if you ever miss you not only lose points, but you are also lost on the quiz you show up to take after the missed class. Students were often confused by her questions. DO NOT TAKE HER!

She definitely lacks good communication skills. Her grading is extremely tough and the text book is rarely used at all. Even when someone studies for a test, they end up failing because half of the stuff on it is stuff that wasn't really covered in class. She's very smart, but I would strongly suggest finding another teacher to take for Humanities.

What a joke..Dont take her. She has no idea how to teach. She talks down to you when you question her and she can never explain how she grades your work. She is more interested in doing powerpoint presentions than teaching you somthing useful. Dont Take Her. She is CRAZY!

This teacher is nothing more than a WEIRDO! she is crazy! She has no teaching method and I think she plans her classes from day to day.. Her tests having nothing to do with what you"learned" in class they are just off the wall type questions. I would not recommend her to anyone.

Only take her class if you like torture. And if you want to get a low grade. We had a very small class (fast track) and I'm pretty sure the highest grade was a C. She is so confusing and boring and spastic. And she will make you read your book until class is over, even if she's done teaching. I get stressed just thinking about it.

Horrible class all together she even has a disclamber in her syllabus stating that teaching methods should not be questioned. She is an all over the place teacher very unclear and i really only learned what i tought myself. Her analogies are just confusing (france is like grease) dont waste your money or TIME!

Very unclear. Tests thrown together with cut out pieces of paper copied several times onto one sheet (hard to read). Monotone. Trick questions on tests & quizes. Unprofessional speaker. Homework grading did not follow syllubus. Stupid assignments. Class a waste of time. Poor teaching skills. Unfair, grade suffered...stay far away!
