She is an amazing and easy teacher. Everything that she goes over in class is on the test, if you write down what she wrote and go over the questions for the quiz she puts online you will pass the quizzes, the projects are easy enough to do and don't take up much of your time.

Absolutely horrible teacher. Gives reading assignments only to throw one question on an exam/final here or there just to see if you read. Rants on and on. Does not talk about required class materials/readings. Very vague idea of what you are supposed to know and what you even need. Even if you do the study guides, they are not relevant to the quiz.

She is the WORST teacher. She knows her stuff but has no concept of teaching.You have to have an interest in Lexicology or know how to teach yourself because she will not help.We didnt use the book at all first half semester and her grading sucks.She goes off on useless tangents too! No hw and her assignments are unclear as well as the grading!

Knows her stuff. Does sometimes go off on a tangent, but usually relates it to the class so it makes sense. She does expect college level work from you, but will also help you if you need it. First part of the class (history of english language) is not her forte, but once you get past that, it's smooth sailing. Learned a lot.

This instructor is HORRIBLE! I actually really enjoy what she taught when she wasn't off on a tangent, but she was VERY unclear about her expectations. She is knit-picking with her grading, which her scale is completely unfair. She acts as if it's a 400-level course. She should be fired!

One of the worst professors I have EVER,I would never recommend her.Thematerial and assignments she gave were extremely complicated.She was very unclear.She allowed me to rewrite one of my papers but did not change my grade. She accused me of not changing anything on the paper when I had written a completely new paper. She was terrible at teaching.

She was very kind to me and gave me a few breaks when I had trouble with a big assingment. Willing to help if you just talk to her. The material is presented in a dry, boring manner...was not interested at all and probably would have done better with a different teacher.

It seems like she cares only for certain students.Not too nice. The class itself its hard and lot of material as for 110 level class. The teacher useless, can't explain nor present the material so you can understand the topic. Do not take this class with her.

Class was interesting at times, but she WASNT. We saw a lot of videos, had discussion, and had mostly lectures. She's pretty boring, and doesn't seem to care for people. I didn't buy the textbook, but I still got a B in this class. Not really hard, but confusing material. Attendence is must.

I'm sure I would have learned something if I actually went to class everyday. She is very boring and the material is not difficult but confusing. I expected too much of this class but either the material failed or her attempt to teach it failed. Her word journals are completely useless. Once again, i rarely went to this class.

this professor is very helpful. she is willing to help students one on one. you have to listen to lecture and skim the readings. The tests are fair and she grades on a curve. There is one big long paper, the transcript. It is not that hard if you do the reading and pay attention in class. i would reccommend her.

Seriously folks...the last two comments was a BIG JOKE!! I am not sure who really wrote these lies..I am not sure why this Prof is still teaching this class..she seemed bored, disinterested in teaching. She comes in late all the time, and she seemed confused..she comes in looking like she just got up out of bed in the morning..class sucks!

Horrible teacher! She is very boring. Hates students who ask questions. Lazy. Never find the time to help students and Not helpful at all. She gives out so much readings that are not even helpful for the class. Her tests are hard and confusing because her teaching methods are boring. Overall, she is just one lazy, boring, and confusing teacher.
