Comment:

Professor Pitts is by far one of the best English teachers that I have encountered at OCC. She is very helpful, bubbly, encouraging, wise, and willing to take time out to assist you. If you are looking for an excellent teacher, I strongly recommend Professor Pitts.

The whole semester she told me Im doing great. During conferences she pointed out mistakes which I corrected. I did everything she asked and somehow I still received a C when it was an easy A class. Shes very unorganized and she kept my work for a month before giving it back. I didnt know my grade until the semester was over which was too late.

Ms. Pitts has to be one of the most sweetest human beings in the world. She is a really good professor that helps you know everything on properly constructing an essay, but she will make you work hard for it. Just be precise and organize and you should have no problem, no one should fail this class !!

She really does care about her students and picks up her phone quickly. My only problem was the homework that I didn't completely understand and she can get really nitpicky about punctuation. The rewrites helped me pass the class She often posts links on d2l that were a tiny bit hard to find. Her class is about time management.

Mrs. Pitts makes writing three essays feel easy. We had a few other assignments but the major portion of your grade comes from your essays. She gives great feedback to help you too. I thought writing the final paper was going to hard (8-12 pgs.) but I finished three weeks early and was done with the class. Focus and you can do the same.

She is the BEST!!!! 3 major papers were due along the course and you get to choose whatever topic you like. Only had 3 times full meetings class and the rest were based on conferences. She is very kind and sweet and is always there to help you! If you do all the work she asks you then definitely easy A

Loved her, she made this class very easy. There is a quite a bit of work but you have to do is write a rough draft, give it to her on a one on one meeting and she will fix it, you can do that as many times as you please and she basically hands you an A. She has class set up so you only HAVE to show up for a total of three classes rest are work days

Mrs. Pitts was one of the best teachers I have EVER had! She makes writing a 15 page paper extremely easy. If you need to take Composition 2, please take her. You have 4 papers and multiple other assignments but you can do it!! She is more than happy to help with anything you need. Take this class seriously and you WILL pass...A+ for sure!!

Ms Pitts is an awesome teacher. She is accessible outside the classroom. Make sure you turn in all homework and essays and you should be fine. Do not use recycle essays from previous classes word of caution.

Mrs. Pitts is hands down the best professor Ive ever had so far!!! She truly loves to teach, and is beyond generous with her time!! If you are going to take english you will not regret Mrs. Pitts. Pitts is a phenomenal teacher. she is different from other teachers in the way she presents the class material. all teachers should learn her methods. you have five papers to do, and none of them is really due until the last day of class. she will work around your schedule she's lenient, down to earth and very smart. wish all teachers were like her
