Comment:

PK is such an inspirational professor even to the most novice of English lovers. He is very open to diverse opinions and really wants to know what you think, that's why he will randomly call on you. Many people drop his course too quickly, but I guarantee it doesn't get any better than this professor. Seriously so caring and work is not stressful.

Dr. Klemp is one of the most caring genuine professors I have had, and he loved his job! His laugh is enough to put a smile on anyone's face, and makes an effort to include the entire class. To be completely he honest he is the professor who broke my 4.0 and I still worked my ass off to get an A-, so it will not be easy, but you will love him

Dr. Klemp is an amazing teacher. He uses class time well and cares a lot about his students. Although the readings for this class are dry Dr. Klemp makes the class fun and interesting while still keeping the content the main focus. I'm considering taking another class of his just so he can be my teacher again.

Delightful man. Hilarious. If you didn't do a reading, get ready to be embarrassed. Only grants extensions if you don't miss class. A lot of work for semester--daily readings, 2 exams (half short answer/half essay) a presentation, 2 difficult papers. Tough grader.

He cares for his students, and it shows. The homework can get a bit on the heavy side, but the professor is passionate about what he teaches and keeps classes hilarious. He can be a bit sassy at times, but bring your wit and be attentive and you should do just fine. Can be a tough grader, but he is very approachable and challenges you to learn.

He is a professor that requires a certain taste. He is hilarious and almost masochistically intuitive, but he isn't everybody's cup of tea. Personally, he was a really great mentor for me and you always know if someone took his class because they refer to themselves as Klempians and share his dry sense of humor.

PK is hands down one of the best professors I've ever had. His classes are hard but they are so worth it, because you come out learning so much. He cares about his students - although he teases a lot - and will do whatever he can to help. He's witty, funny, and obviously knows his stuff. He made me love John Milton! Will definitely take again!

He really tries to get to know his students and you definitely feel the love. Even when he's picking on you, it's all for his own fun. Expect a nickname from him and don't miss class. You won't want to anyways. You learn very valuable lessons from him. Keep up with the readings, though. He knows a guilty face when he sees one.

Professor Klemp is one of the best professors I have had at UW Oshkosh. His sense of humor makes class a fun environment to learn in. He is very knowledgeable and always welcomes students to come to his office hours for help. I was sad when this class ended. Definitely take his class if you get the chance!

Professor Klemp is quite the character! Outrageously funny, surprisingly engaging, and refreshingly fun to be around, it was hard not to like him right away. His class requires some effort if you want good grades, but nothing too unreasonable. He sometimes pushes politics in the classroom, which can get annoying. Overall though, awesome. TAKE HIM!

Klemp was an awesome professor. With that said, his class was tough. Participation and attendence is key, because a big percent of your grade is how much you discuss. Papers were all 6-12 pages. He is so funny though, and makes coming to class enjoyable. Would definitely take him again!

PK is probably the best professor at UWO. He is brilliant, engaging, and shows clear and infectious enthuasism for his subject material which. Builds rapport with students, even if that rapport is dryly sarcastic teasing . Don't be scared of him-- he's okay with you being sarcastic back to him, which makes (mandatory) class very fun!

Most wonderful professor I have ever had. I can't wait to take another class with him!!! He knows what he is talking about and is super sassy! Don't be afraid to tease him a little bit or make him uncomfortable. He loves it when people are sassy back, but just know that it turns into a competition with him after a little bit.

My favorite professor. Delightfully obnoxious, turns purple easily at off-color remarks. Kept me laughing, on my toes, and working my butt off all semester. DO THE READING AND BE ON TIME or he will make fun of you. He expects a lot, and my writing improved tremendously. If you get an A, it's because you earned it.
