Comment:
Dr. Massman is retiring this year and it is a true shame. He is very considerate of his students, makes everything clear from the start, and allows you to succeed in his class. If for some reason you are reading this and are taking him after his retirement, take him. You won't find a more respected and kind professor who is very knowledgeable.

Do the reviews and memorize them! All answers can be found in his powerpoint slides. He has a monotone voice so lectures can be boring , but if you don't attend then do reviews in the beginning and study that for days!!There are only 4tests, drops lowest. Massive curves in tests and offers extra credit in form of easy essays.

Dr. Massman's lectures are stimulating. Study the reviews, and you should be fine. All of the answers are in his powerpoints, which have notes within the slides.

Listen. This is a ROUGH class if you aren't a fan of science. He knows what he's talking about and he will help you. You have to work for it though. The lectures are long and boring, but all of his power points are online. Gives you a study guide for the 4 exams. No other assignments aside from the tests but there are two extra credit papers.

Professor Massman is awesome! I am taking him for PSYC3341 and because of him I am doing well! His class was filled up & I emailed him asking if I could be in the class, it was the only one that would fit my schedule after having a baby and he was so genuinely nice about it. He knows what he's talking about. The type of professor we all neeed!!!

I'm currently taking his class right now. I have heard that PSYC 3341 was difficult but to me, its not. Yes, its a lot of information to know for the test. I suggest doing the review then look at the powerpoint for more info. I have gone up from a B to an A on 2 exams. 3 exams need to be taken, final is optional. Extra credit is optional. Take him!

He's great, you can tell he's very passionate about this subject. His lectures go a little too slow for my taste. Everything he says is already written on the slides, I found myself going to write down a note and seeing it already there. Class has 4 exams, one gets dropped, or you can just skip the final. Take him, he knows what he's talking about!

Professor Massman is a great professor! Physio is the hardest psychology course there is, but he is very thorough and explains things clearly. His grading scale is perfect - he gives massive curves to exams. Posts review 10 days prior to exam. STUDY STUDY STUDY!! And you won't get anything less than a B :)

Physio is the hardest psyc class but Massman is SO thorough and gives lots of examples. MUST ATTEND CLASS to get notes - hands out test reviews with answers coming straight from notes. Tough class, but if you study hard, you can get an A (he gives extra credit and curves). Highly recommend out of all physio teachers!

The material was interesting but his voice just can put you to sleep. Attendance is not mandatory but you will regret it if you miss even one day. Make sure you *understand* the material rather than remember. Read the textbook if you need help (recommend it). He gives a decent curve to each test however. Overall he is a fair professor.

Not the easiest class, lots of information to remember for each test. He gives a good amount of extra credit and curves the class. He a little uninteresting but you have to attend class to get the notes.

Awesome Professor! What he says is just as if not more important than what is written on the overhead! Take good notes, and do the review he gives you & an A should be no problem! The material is hard, but if your a PSYC major and must take this class, take it with Massman!

4 mc exams (including comprehensive final), but you get to drop 1. 2nd exam most difficult. Take good notes. Better to record lectures and listen again than to read the book. ATTEND CLASS. Lectures a bit dry, but extremely clear! Very fair grading scale, an 80=A. He gives 3 free pts and allows 10pts extra credit. Study and you can get an A.

take good notes besides the ones that gives from the overhead, study thoroughly, and making an A should not be a problem. He gives 10 points of extra credit, 3 free points toward your grade, and his scale curves 20 percent, meaning 80% and above is an A.

He's really easy if you study the study guide he gives you. An A is very possible with him. Best teacher for this class. 4 tests, last one dropped if happy with grade. Go to class because that's where all the answers for the review sheet are.
