Professor Orr really knows what he's talking about when it comes to music. He is funny, caring, and tries to make class fun. He wants everyone to succeed and learn music and recognizes that people learn at their own pace. Awesome professor

He's such a great guy, and he really cares about his students and their lives. He sometimes comes off as a little moronic, but he's just an affable wacko with a passion for music. You'll learn tons, and you'll sing tons. Take him if you can.

Tough class for a 100 level but very informative and interesting, even for non-music majors. Prof is fair but expects you to work. Tests are based on the reviews. Expect to study a lot for them if you want to do well. Overall, great class. He is a genius when it comes to music.

He is the nicest person. He really trys to help you if you are having trouble. If you dont understand something he is willing to work with you as long as you try. He is very dedicated to his work and tries to make the class interesting by using some modern music in the class. I loved him

Prof. Orr isn't all that bad. In my class, there's a lot of college-age people who act worse than children. They whisper, play on their cell phones, and act bored. So Orr is going to be annoyed. He knows not all of us are music majors so he tries to make things interesting. Just don't be rude.

This professor is the most unfair teacher I have ever taken. Tests are impossible and thinks all his students are music majors. Business majors dont need this garbage in an elective. Take something else cause I wish I did. Thinks a good grade distribution is more people failing than a,b,and c's

His class is sooo hard but at the end of the semester he curves big time. If you miss to many classes, do one or two extra interest assignments...he gives lots of points for those.
