Took Professor Randal for a summer online course. The homework and 2 home test are all done on Connect. You can use Chegg to help you understand. Make sure you really know the material for the final. The final is similar questions to the previous test plus the hw assignments.

Comment:

I took Mr. Serrett for a summer course, if you complete all the homework and do good on the 2 home test you should do great even though the final is work such a big part of your grade. Used Chegg and it helped tremendously showing me how to workout certain problems, so I never had to ask him for help. I would definitely take again.

Comment:

Uses McGraw-Hill Connect for online homework and quizzes. It's an awesome resource. I'm not sure how you could fail this class if stick with the syllabus schedule, do the homework and self study practice questions. Do NOT fall behind in this class or you will left behind rather quickly.

If youre looking to pads with ease look elsewhere, plenty of homework, Lead professor program basically means you dont learn anything in class, class is basically review but will help a bit, the final is basically half your grade. 3 Exams, 2 online and 1 in class. Please dont take this class if youre looking for an easy A.

Doctor Serrett provided us with online lectures and Professor McNally did all the in class work assignments. The amount of breadth that this course has is amazing. With the combination of these two professors it allowed me to catch on to Accounting quickly. Online home, Online Exams, Comprehensive final in class. Keep up to date and you will succee

Took winter mini with him. You are on your own. Everything is on cengage. Four tests and a proctored final. No extra credit, no dropping lowest grade, no late homework. He is unavailable, I emailed him a question hoping he would explain but instead he told me the solution was on the website. The only way to survive is to study with your classmates.

Don't believe what you see on here. I took this course all online. Two test and weekly homework assignments and online guided reading (really helpful). I got a 50% on the final exam and missed 1 reading assign and 1 homework assign and still pulled a B. Only downside, no final review or help. But would definitely take again!

Doctor Serrett, class was taught mainly by Assistant Professor, Professor McNally who was excellent. Doctor Serrett class, was set up simple, typical online homework, 3 test including final. Final being the heaviest grade. He also has online video lectures, that comes in handy outside of class.

Comment:

Tough professor, only have homework and exams assignments. He says you have to pass the final in order to pass his class and the final is taken at a proctored testing center. Another thing I hated was that we had to buy a book and access code from cengage in order to do homeworks and exams. A waste of money to use it only for one semester.

This professor has no sympathy for any of his students even if they are not majoring in accounting because of he failed accounting too so everybody should follow his footsteps. That's not how education works. You're supposed to help students succeed not intimidate them. Why even have other assignments when the only thing that counts is the final?

He is tough! VERY CLEAR on what he expects in syllabus. If you don't pass the final, you won't pass the course. He comes off as unapproachable, I was afraid to email to ask him ANYTHING. This class is literally 100% on your own AND YOU MUST READ!!!

Syllabus was difficult to understand or Professor information to find, has a contract attached, limited availability "using precious class time", "students are driving him crazy", these are included in BB video comments as well, not approachable, unfriendly, threatens first day don't pass final you fail the course, including Acc major must get A

Online class. I always studied when the test came, but still made between 60-70. 2 tests online non-protor and 1 final at uhd testing center. Beware, his test is moderately hard. You need to understand really well about government in order to pass this class or else u r in big trouble. I don't recommend if u r just looking to pass the class.

This class was 100% completley on your own through Connect. Very straightforward, simple homework, 2 online exams that were moderately difficult, and the final is at the testing center, in the same format at the at home exams. I would recommend this teacher if you are responsbile with time Zero extra credit, no late assignments taken for any reason

I took his team-taught class hybrid. Test were mostly vocab. There were always 2 quizzes each class. YOU HAVE TO READ THE BOOK. He scared all of his students at the beginning but I put a lot of effort into this class and ended up liking him. Wouldn't take again but it's something that's passable.

Professor Serrett does not play around. I was the top student in his class until it came to the Practice Set. I had car trouble the morning it was due and when I got to school, the printers were messed up. He said if you didn't turn in the Practice Set at exactly the start of class, it was invalid. He stuck to his guns, so I got a C instead of an A
