This professor was the final deciding factor in me changing my major. His office hours sucked and were beyond inconvenient, his quizzes and tests were harder than anything I have ever taken before. He curves the tests because students do so badly on them. If you don't have knowledge in C++ this class is going suck big time. Don't take this prof.

Worst teacher Ive taken in my entire life. If I could grade him in the negatives, I would. Material given in class is not clear when taking quizzes. He does go over what is going to be on exams but also, is not very clear. The projects arent fully described on what to do and how to do it. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL COSTS!!!!

Gave me my first C of my life. This was the hardest class I've ever taken. I studied hard but exams were much more detailed and more difficult than what is covered in class. NO PARTIAL CREDIT! If you do not have computer science background, BEWARE. He is willing to help if you need it, I spent all semester in his office. Still very challenging.

I would study and I even got a tutor and I still don't have a good grade. I asked for help and simply got a "read the book and do more problems" answer. Good guy, but do not like him as a teacher.

Had to take this class to graduate with an engineering degree and I'm struggling to pass. I am not a bad student and work hard, but he is unreasonable. He hardly gives homework or examples just expects you to know it. With no background in don't expect to excel with as poor as a professor as him.

Amazing person, bad teacher. If you know the material going in, you will be fine. If not, take someone else. Again, he is an amazing person, but lectures are very dull and boring, and are not very helpful or explained very well.

Terrible teacher. Knows his stuff but can't communicate it effectively to students. Gives unreasonably difficult tests, but doesn't teach the material. The fact he has to curb the grade scale so severely to get people to pass is indicative of what a poor teacher he his.

Mr. Baker is a good teacher. He is very hard though because he will expect you to finish a 7 page test in a 50 minute class. You cannot come back and take it either. He gives hw every class but doesn't take it for a grade.

This class was sooo hard. I am a math major & I struggled a lot. He is very nice & is willing to help you. If you go to him for help, it'll help. I had to have a lot of help on the programs & had trouble on test & quizzes. If you constantly go to him for help & ask questions, you'll be okay. He is really quiet when he talks too.

Very nice professor, and really helpful. However, he tends to make the course extremely hard. Quiz every Friday, one is harder than the other. It also takes forever to grade our tests and quizzes. He should remember that most of the students really need their grades to figure out how hard he/she has to study to have a better grade.

Definitely knows his stuff, but not the best at explaining things. I asked him how he solved one of the homework problems in class once and he answered, "You just have to know how to do it." Very nice guy, but it's hard to learn from him. The worst part is that he talks so low you can't even hear him.

He is the worst teacher I have ever had. He held all of out test and quizzes for 7 weeks straight then wanted to give us a final on questions from the tests that we never recieved or had a chance to fix and learn from our mistakes. Wont go over ANYTHING in class, SUPER SOFT SPOKEN, NOT CLEAR ON METHODS. DONT TAKE FOR CALCULUS, TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!

This is the worst teacher for any class IMO You can tell the man know a great deal about math and computer programing...to bad he doesn't know how to teach. It was also hard for me to meet with him to ask for help because I work. I tried to come at his office hours and he was never there. I did all the work in his class studied my butt off.

Not a good teacher. He doesnt explain things very well and his writing on the board is really sloppy so good luck taking notes. Doesnt Speak very loud and he grades only test and quizes and doesnt like to give extra credit. Quiz every friday too.

Very nice guy... He was very helpful to me when I got behind in class due to a family illness. I ended up having to drop this class due to family problems, but he went out of his way to help me. This class was a little difficult, but if you attend class and take good notes, you should be o.k. Very good professor.
