She is an extremely harsh grader and gives very little leeway. There are news quizzes every week that are hard to prepare for as they are questions made from a weeks worth of random news. If you have to take her class then take her in the morning because she is usually in a better mood then. I don't recommend taking her class.

Dr. Bromley is a very nice "person" but not as a teacher. Outside of class she is very nice and helpful,but Comm Law is useless and impossible! If the course were taught in a different way it may be somewhat interesting... Sorry to Comm majors, you are stuck with this class because shes the only one who teaches it.

Dr. Bromley is awesome ! she knows a lot and is very kind and willing to work with students. She is just a very nice person and likes her students, and is fair and just. She will listen to you and take you seriously.

Persuasive writing is an extremely misleading course title. Absolutely zero percent of her course is dedicated to developing a persuasive voice, it is dedicated to writing like Bromley in AP Style. I didn't sign up for the course to review every comm course-if that's the case, it would have been nice for her to bring something new to the table.

i've had her for ethics and P.R. she's a tough cookie, just stay on her good side. i love her quirky personality but some don't always. it's not ness to read all the chapters in the text, but i think it's essential to skim them, because it'll bite you in the rear come test time. her test are tricky, so make sure to study. take her, she makes u thnk

I didn't enjoy the class, but I am interested in Public Relations. I'm not sure if I didn't enjoy it because of the people in there or the fact that she let a few people dominate the class. I felt the class was very subjective, and I didn't learn much. Also, our finals and final grades as well as extra assignment grades were never told to us.

Never touches the book save your money study the study guides, however borrow someones to complete the study guides to study for the exams. 4 Exams = Your Grade... Need really only attend to pick-up study guides and take tests. Be careful to not miss too much or may miss a changed exam date. Final Exam offered when you miss one! Otherwise NO Fina

Her teaching style was impossible to follow! She refuses to use blackboard or ever write out notes because she just wings it and then the tests are 20 questions of listing 7 things per question that can't be found in the book. Her lectures are also very rambling and hard to follow. NO STRUCTURE AT ALL. DO NOT TAKE. I have a 3.5 GPA and had to drop!

I'm sorry, but this older woman is out of touch. She wanders, repeats herself, and is very confusing. She arranged the official student evaluations in such a way that not everyone could respond -- go figure! She may want to think about retiring.

WAYYYY better than Rushing. She is so willing to help you if you need it and she goes over exactly what you need to know for the test. And I disagree that she rambles - when she does get off topic, it's usually for a funny anecdote.

Bromley's PR class is relatively easy and if you know what's on the study guide you will do fine. Her law class is a lot harder and she can be really confusing sometimes -- really it's the book that's bad though. She cares a lot about her students and is really willing to help if you need it.

I dread going to class every Tues/Thurs. She babbles on. Her examples suck. Her test are beyond hard,study guide isn't helpful. I never want to have her as a teacher again. Advoid her if you can !!!

Dr. B is a great teacher. She only expects what students who are majoring in communication should already know how to do. And even when there's an assignment that is a little out of your comfort zone and you didn't do so well, she's still fair and very willing to help you do better. You'll come out of her class knowing more than you did before.

She does have high expectations, but you will learn so much. She has one of the best personality & sense of humor out of the Comm professors. Attend class and give effort on assignments and it will pay off. The times I missed class, she ALWAYS let me email her my work w/o penalty. Take her.
