Velez (now Prof. Moody) is VERY flakey. She says one thing, does another. She is virtually unvailable outside of class. Good luck contacting her, or getting her to return your messages/calls if you need something.

Rhonda is a wonderful person but she is opinionated. She does play favorites, but there are very few people she dislikes. She doesn't hate America, she just hates George Bush. She is emotional at times and exaggerates quite a bit (migraines for 8 days straight). I think she's got personal problems but enjoys teaching nonetheless.

She wasn't hard at all, it was an easy A. She didn't always pick favorites, she just wanted a good student-professor relationship. If you were nice and open in class, she was nice and open to you.

Velez was a strickly alright teacher, but her opinions do get annoying. You have to write a lot for her tests and quizzes but their not that hard. I do agree with the previous post of how she tries to be real good friends with students she has had before which also gets very annoying. Instead of picking favorites, why doesn't she try TEACHING.

I agree with 2 posts before mine. The first day she said, "You will never hear me give an opinion in this class." Bull. That's all we heard all quarter. America: Sucks! Everything Latin: Hooray! And she cried almost once a week. Dry it up & teach. She was nice otherwise though & the class wasn't too hard.
