Comment:

Richard made accounting quite enjoyable. Quizzes before lecture, so be sure to read each chapter. Exams get tougher as time goes by, so KEEP ON READING! Just attempt the HW and turn it in on time for full credit. Start figuring out who you'd like to do your case study with early. Case study was my favorite part of the class, by far.

he grades easy on homeworks and projects. do well on your tests, they can be very hard if you don't read your book. he only lectures on some of the topics that he thinks are important. you need to self learn, so read the book. quizzes before the lectures, but once you read the book you will do fine.

HE'S ONE OF THE BEST TEACHERS I HAD =) TAKE HIM! YOU JUST NEED TO PASS YOU HW ON TIME SO YOU CAN GET A FULL CREDIT. ALL EXAMS ARE EASY IF YOU READ THE BOOK. BUT AS SOON AS HE START TEACHING THE CHAPTERS, I GET HOOK. HE'S AN EFFECTIVE TEACHER. TAKE HIM =)

Knows about the subject but did not like his teaching method. Gotta read the book on your own then have quiz about it the following lecture. THEN goes over the subject. Accounting is complicating and if i have to rad on my own then why go to school? sure he goes over the subject after you take a quiz and questions are not easy even after reading.

Comment:

Professor can have an abrasive personality--especially if you're late, etc. However, if you can put up with him, his grading is more than fair, can drop two quizzes, a test, and HW is 100% as long as you try to do it. I had a low C average on exams and ended up with a B in the class. Gotta read the book, but he works with you so that you pass.

One of the few teachers I remember back when I took his class in 1998. He had the gall to yell at me when a group member tried to place blame on me for not doing work which wasn't true. He's an anal retentive guy and snarky. Despite the personality "issues" he's fair and if you do the work you will get a decent grade. I got a B.

I did not like the way this teacher taught his lessons, and i felt that he is rude and prejudice. When i would raise my hand or say excuse me to get his attention to ask him a question he would ignore me. He did not explain throughly what he was trying to portray in his lectures. fairly easy class, must show up and do all homework. he picks questions from the book for hw and as long as you turn it in on time, you get credit. quizes are always 10 ?'s m/choice. tests are not too hard as long as you study for it. Oh yeah, turn your cell phones off before class.

Richard, he is a very nice guy and teaches the material thoroughly. This is a 5 unit class so be prepared to read the whole book and take quizzes every week. There is a test every 3 weeks and a really fun Case Study project. If you do your work and study the homework for the tests, you will get an A. Not a hard class but it does require reading.

Richard was a tough teacher. He was a good teacher but the material in the class was hard. Worked really hard for an A. Spent lots of time studying but the class was pretty cool for the most part. He was very helpful during office hours too.

First I wasn't going to take him because all these comments about him are so bad. I ended up with enrolling his class for some reason and I like him! He teaches very well, midterms are all multiple choice, and HW is always 100% as long as you do. I disagree with people who say he's rude and stuff.

he's very condescending and rude. when you ask him for help, he'd give you a smart alec attitude. if you can put up with him, his grading is extremely fair and easy. i would not take him again. **word of advice, if you do take him, do your hw on time. and during the case study, if you have slackers in your group, kick them out ASAP.

The most smart business professor at Mt.SAC. Had a MBA and CPA. A lot of people said he is hard and bad, but I don't agree. He is really willing to help all the students if you ask for help. If you can get A in his class you can get A for all the other bussiness classes. He drop 1 test and 3 quizzes out of 8. Just make sure you read the book.

He was humorous, confident, and direct. Class consisted of 4 exams (non-curricular and can drop 1), 8 quizzes (drop 2), and homework was easy if you do it. says read the whole chapter before the quiz and sometimes I couldn't understand certain things on the chapter. On the other hand, his method made you read and do the homework. My grade was a B.
