Prof didn't make it harder than it had to be. I don't particularly like studying History, but learned a lot and got an A. Lots of reading, but not all boring & corresponded to the chapter-quizzes, four exams, and two discussions. Wish I could take another online course from him. Straightforward syllabus & grading. Take him if you are lucky enough!

Comment:

Professor Flynn is sooo easy. All you have to do is the chapter quizzes (answers on quizlet), Do 4 Discussions, which is easy as well and 4 tests (answers online) . This is the best History class I ever took and its an easy 'A' , if you get a chance to take his class, do, it'll be worth it. And he has an extra credit assignment if you don't do good

Comment:

I took this class for a half term course ONLINE. I found it very easy and the work was not very heavy. I was expecting it to be an overload but it was a breeze! Only thing i would recommend is following the rubric about the two discussions you are required to do.

I took his class because of the reviews here and found that a lot of the reviews are accurate. There is a quiz for each chapter, you get an unlimited amount of attempts, and a week to complete them. Exams are painfully easy, he added an extra 8 pts to the score on one exam & Discussions are simple.

Great professor. I really recommend him and like his approach. just follow his instructions and you will be fine. I nearly dropped the class after reading his syllabus but I realize he is very nice, I would have missed a great professor if I dropped him. Take him and you wont regret.

Half semester straight fwd course, open book quizzes (0%) 4 exams 40 question in 45 minutes not open book (0%) 2 discussions worth 25% of grade so follow discussion directions. There's is no way no to get an A in the course. Excellent stress free class..

Mr. Flynn was a AWESOME online instructor. He had assignments posted in a timely manner. Quizzes were open book (only 4 questions each). There were 4 exams (40 questions-not open book). There were 2 group discussions but they were easy. However, you have to follow his instructions. regarding the posts. Overall A REALLY GOOD TEACHER.

It might have just been me not interested in the topics, but he is a nice professor. You must have time to do the assignments to reach his requirements of participation. If you are into a lot of reading and group discussions then take his class online. Not sure how he is in person.

I took this class on line. Mr. Flynn is a good history teacher. I hate history but he made it interesting. There is a lot of reading but it's fair. I got a B. He gives about 15 extra credit points per test and you take all the quizzes until you get a 100. I highly recommend him. He's the best!!!

This online class was not really difficult, but it requires alot of reading. You have to read the book & his many handouts. You also have to participate in the discussions which might require additional reading. A word of caution...the discussions are worth 25% of your final grade so do them with much effort.

Mr.Flnn is a WONDERFUL WONDERFUL professor... he is very helpful, and kind hearted... Do the quizzes and make 100's on them because they're unlimited...read the text book, and MAKE sure you do the discussion questions which very easy!!! I would most definitely reccommend this teacher...

I took Flynn this summer. Do the practice quizzes..easy grades. Test every other week and if you do the quizzes and read his notes each week, you'll do fine. I didn't use my book much at all. Teacher was clear, concise and helpful. I wish he taught HIST 1111
