He typically comes into class about 6 minutes late. Usually very quiet when he talks, so sometimes it's a little hard to hear him. Mostly just lectures and doesn't give any specific notes. There are 2 tests- 100 questions True/False, plus the final. He uses a curve based on the class point leader at the end of the semester. He has a sense of humor.

This is my retake of the course I took at another school. Dr. Hearn made this amazing to retake. He is quiet so I recommend sitting up front. He gives 5 points for just being in class everyday. His tests are 100 true/false with a great curve. However to do well on the tests you must READ the book!!

I was looking forward to taking this class, but it was a real disappointment. I learned about business law from reading the text, but his real life examples came from his private practice: divorce, property disputes, and auctions. While there were assignments, nothing was ever graded until after the final was taken and grades were due!

I liked this class. he is hard to understand sometimes because he talks low and the kids move and make noise. but other than that he is a good teacher go to class (he gives points which will help you in the end), listen, and you will be fine.

The man doesn't have an interesting bone in his body. No need to take notes, you can't understand a worrd that comes out of his mouth. He's a mumbler! You won't make less than a C even if you fail every test though, so if you don't mind a C bring a book, headphones, anything to entertain yourself and just ride it out!

Professor Hearn is definitely boring. His tests are also EXTREMELY difficult to study for. He hardly uses anything straight from the textbook. Instead, he applies the stuff he has talked about to real life situations. Me being the textbook kind of student, I hated his exams. He is simply okay.

Class is not too hard, but it's hard to figure out what to study for the tests. Boring, but somewhat useful class. He doesn't give you your tests back after grading them, so you'll have no idea if he made any mistakes in grading.

He is an alright professor. He is very funny. He gives 100 true or false question tests. It's a 50 50 chance that you will get the answer to each question correct. I have a B in his class and that is without studying. It's possible to pass his class.
