Does not grade fairly and talks down to class. Its her way of thinking or it's no way at all. Very disappointed in this teacher I would not recommend taking her at all!

She belittles and tries to put students down. says I cannot write an outline or make a speech even though I make a's in my cj classes. she picks her favorites and if you aren't one of them she will cut you down as slyly as she can and will do her best to make sure you do not pass...feels like a middle school class with her methods of teaching.

Very very contradicting. She is set in her own ways, is convinced her method of speaking is only right method. If you pay attention attend every class and practice A LOT you can get an A but you also have to put up with her annoying tendencies. Rude teacher.

This class was very challenging. Ms. Miller sticks to her syllabus and doesn't waste her time on students that don't put forth the effort. Bottom line is pay attention, follow directions, and you will do just fine!

Absolutely the worst teacher I have ever had. I took her both for speech and theater, and she only knew the very basics of both. Her method of teaching, or lack of, was a combination of sarcasm and little quips to demean and belittle you into submission to keep you quiet. I had to drop both classes. I couldn't stand it.

Teaches speech yet she doesnt know any thing about public speaking. I give speaches to soldiers returning from Iraq for a living and i got a C in the class. If you are a horrible speaker you may want to take her because you will get an A this woman calendar has one day OPPOSITE DAY. Worst teacher i've ever had.

She definitely makes you work for your grade. Don't panic after the first two speeches, keep working at it and actually prepare your speeches and get through them you can make an A. She is tough and not much fun, doesn't put up with anything so when you get into her class focus solely on what she is saying. Overall you will improve on speech giving

Definitely a little strict... though she has very strong opinions and expectations, if you do exactly what is asked of you, and put effort into your speeches, you will pass the class. I didn't particularly like or agree with her, but I followed her instructions, and managed okay. Sometimes you have to play the game to win.

she always had something helpful to tell you, but no matter how hard you tried or thought you improved, she would find something else...she picks favorites and thinks too much of her own abilities. She talks about ramdom things not pertainging to speech and grades rather unfairly, i made a B but shold of had an A. I would not recomend her.
