Comment:

Took PSY 420 while taking her class, and recieved an A+ on every paper. On hers, recieved C's and D's. Has favorites. Is off her rocker. Grades unfairly and is extremely biased. Gave me a C on a paper for not seperating a large paragraph into 2 smaller ones with no other errors. Works on things that she says, "Don't really matter." Waste of time!!

Dr. English was the worst English teacher I have ever had. She is a fun lady and I don't think she is that hard but the class was such a waste of my time. I also asked her if I could get help from somewhere other than the learning center and she said no. Who cares where you get help from as long as your willing to put forth the effort to get help?

The worst teacher I have ever had at Meredith. Grades unfairly and writes completely illegibly. She jumps around a lot and seems completely scatterbrained. She will write corrections on your paper that are not legitimate and that contradict each other. I will never, ever be taking a course from her ever again.

The worst teacher I have ever had at Meredith. I plan on avoiding her in the future. A lot of work that she grades harshly, as well as asking questions on an exam that were never discussed in class. She also doesn't really tell you what to study for exams.

Dr. English seems to be difficult, but she's alright. I love her sense of humor. She didn't grade my papers as "GOOD", either. In other classes, my papers were good. But Dr. English does want the best for her students. I found her to be supportive, when I was going through a very personal ordeal. She's not a bad teacher at all.

I know that most people don't like Dr. English, but she's actually a very good teacher who pushes her students towards excellence. If you can break through her oddities, you will find a very nice woman who wants the best for her students. Plan on working really hard to get a good grade in her class, and know that it will be worth the effort.

I do not like to write, but in my previous english classes I have done well on my papers, but in her class she made me feel like I didn't know how to write and the world's worst writer. I also LOVE to read, but she makes you read so much at one time that feel rushed reading such a great book and I can't appreciate the book. Very hard!

Wow, very very hard. I really used to love writing all of the time and thought I was a decent writer. After her class, though, I hate writing and really feel like I am the world's worst writer. No teacher should make you lose interst in what you love; no matter how hard you work, if you are not one of her favs, you will not get an A on her papers.

Funny, different, interesting, excited... what more is there to say? Dr. English is a big fan of movies, and hopes to rub off her excitement onto you. Papers are based mostly on opinion and are fairly easy to write, and you learn a lot in this class. "The world doesn't make sense unless you've seen enough movies!"
