one of the only classes I actually don't mind attending. She's not annoying about paying attention but likes when her students participate. Discussions were simple and she would assign work often but it was always easy and simple. Short readings due sometimes quizzes. accepts late assignments, easy A as long as you attend and submit your work!

She just transferred to GMU from AU and is still trying to figure everything out. She's nice, and loves participation. Some days she even makes brownies and cookies for us, but she is a bit awkward and not an easy grader. I am good at essays so I did well, but take her advice!

She is super fun and enthusiastic about her teaching and never assigns busy work. The work in the class is not hard and the class discussions are great.

I miss Sarah Johnson. She was really tough and confusing at fist, but by the end of term the puzzle came together.

This teacher is the real deal. She loves for you to connect with her and tell her your problems in IR. If you do all the readings and go to her for help, she will give you a good grade. Make sure you answer all the questions on her assignments. Sarah Johnson is one of the best!

Class is messy. very fair and nice but likes to pick favorites. Easy A if you read, take notes, and pretend to participate in group projects as well as suck up to her (laugh at her jokes). Participation not mandatory. Nations project is hell. Midterm and Final are easy (she gives you questions in advance or it?s a take-home). Can negotiate grades.

She's not worth commenting on cause she does her job, and it does it well. Its no coincidence 55+ students have given her incredibly positive feedback. Con side is shes a bit disorganized, esp with the syllabus. Pro side is youll get a high grade, shes funny, you learn material, and you meet and work with other people in your class.

Professor Johnson is a very charismatic and energetic teacher. She engages the students and encourages free discussion. Her unstructured approach is both a positive and a negative: a lot of what you get out of the class is what you bring to it. She does not really lecture and the class is not very structured, so you have to learn on your own.

Professor Johnson is generous, considerate, and fair. As long as you participate, she remembers you, and you pay attention youll get an A. I highly recommend her! I had a 2:10-4:50 double block on fridays, and it seemed like no time with her. TAKE HER!

Great professor, enjoys discussing world events with students and often takes the 'devil's advocate' point of view. Very helpful.

I Love it! I hated politics before having her class. Her sassiness is what I love the most and she's very cynical which are my type of people. Although she may randomly switch the syllabus, the things she makes us do, although I'm not sure if she actually grades them is DEFINITELY GREAT for you to learn on your own. midterm and final are amazing

Professor Johnson is admittedly more interested in "pet projects" than a survey of world politics. She taught me a whole lot about refugees, though. In this class, the professor and their interests are relevant to the direction the course takes. She is always willing to help. Easy A if you show up and do your work.

Stay away from this one.......total waste of time. She has no idea what's going on in the world, only her little pet projects. She needs to read a newspaper to find out what's going on in the world. Avoid at all costs.

I took world politics as a Junior for fun, just to broaden my horizons. Sarah is great. She's intelligent. The only people I would think wouldnt like her would be closed minded. As a freshman I dont think I would have been able to understand her teaching style. But if you are really mature for your age, you can handle her. She's the best!!

She is TERRIBLE!! Stay away. Completely disorganized, changes assignments the day before they are due, doesn't know much about the world, only her limited interests. Very self involved and a completely useless class. I don't think she reads the newspaper, and she lives in her own little world. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

WONDERFUL!!!! Not too organized but look at the big picture - look beyond grades and you will actually learn and probably get a good grade! She's tough during the coursetime to push you to work hard but always ends up giving you a good grade if you work hard. Shes SO nice. LOVE HER LOVE HER LOVE HER!

Always late to class. No organization. No direction given and no expectations demanded or achieved. AU should be ashamed. She's nice outside of class, but teaching quality is a disgrace.

This woman is fantastic. Her knowledge of international relations is expansive and engages her class with lots of discussion. She actually realized that Realist thought is important in IR and teaches it well (this is a problem with many SIS profs.) She isnt that hard either
