Professor Plous is my literal favorite. I LOVED him and his social psych class. I knew exactly what was expected of me and I genuinely looked forward to attending each and every one of of his classes. He made the course fun and interactive, even if you aren't the type of person to volunteer. This has been one of my fav classes at Wes

You can't go wrong with Scott Plous. He's probably the most respected professor at the school for the obvious reasons. His lectures are amazing and the topic is so interesting and applicable. His Social Psych class is a must for everyone at the school. The exams are fair, and you need to read the textbook.

Prof. Plous is a fantastic teacher. Even though this class was almost entirely lecture based (we did watch a few videos) , Prof. Plous was a terrific speaker and did a great job engaging the students with the material. I still think about several of the large takeaways from his class on a day to day basis.

Great professor and great class. Can ramble too much about some things at times, but overall, he explains the concepts very well. Focus on getting good grades on the tests--they will pretty much determine your grade. Read A LOT. If anything sticks out to you when you read it the first time, it'll probably be on the exam.

This class is super easy if you do the assigned reading. He has lectures that are very clear and easy to understand, and he is more than willing to clarify anything that might have been confusing. He also picks TA's who are very knowledgable about the course and the material, so they will provide a lot of help too. Fun class and pretty easy too!

Plous is the most organized, engaging, funny, passionate, and interesting professor I have ever had. Even with 150 students he made everyone feel like they had a voice and was available for students. Classes were meticulously planned out and reasonable exams. The subject was made so fun, relatable, and interesting by the amazing Professor Plous.

Great class. Great professor. Despite its large size, the class is very interesting and engaging. If you do the readings, you will do well on the exams. The questions are straight from the text. I thought I could get away with just memorizing the terms for the first exam, having taken AP psych in high school, but I was so wrong. You have to read.

Prof. Plous is a good instructor but he inflicts his world view and his political preferences on his students and essentially requires that those be adopted. He is intolerant of differences of points of view insofar as those issues are concerned.

Have taken lecture and seminar courses with this prof - he is a genius, and he knows it! He cares about students, and will help you go the extra mile if you want to. Learned more about writing in his seminar than any other class at Wes. Lecture is a feat of immense proportions - so engaging. Air-tight curricula, don't miss him.
