He was my best teacher at UF so far. Wonderful, helpful man who is enthusiastic about what he's teaching! Even if you've always hated history, you'll walk out of the class loving it. I higly recommend professor Terzian!!

Comment:

Great teacher, he's enthusiastic about his subject and knows his stuff. Has a unique way of engaging his students that's hard to find in professors. Really cares about his students understanding of the material and makes himself available for questions. I've never enjoyed history, but this class was pretty good!

Pretty good teach. Has a very good understanding of the subject and has established a classroom curriculum conducive to actually learning the subject. Not an easy grader, though, and classroom attendance + participation is necessary. I would definitely suggest him if you're not lazy and like being rewarded for hard work.

Very kind. He is MORE than willing, in fact, he begs students to ask him for help or come to his office hours. He explains everything as many times as he needs to make sure everyone understands. If you pay attention, participate, and do the reading, you'll soar.

Kind & Passionate. Provides great guidance in reading and discussion. Sadly, he's not as stimulating as reported. He lacks command of the subject and his guided reading questions result in mere regurgitation of simple facts during discussions. A good bit of reading. He is very eager to help you. Recommended, but not brilliant or challenging.

Exams are tedious. There are 3 in class exams which usually consists of writing 18-22 paragraphs. A lot of material is covered in class. He is very helpful with any of your concerns. I just couldn't handle the exams

He's a conservative in liberal clothing. He might talk liberal (at times) but his readings are very conservative, which reflects what he sees as most important. Well-organized, easy to follow, but does expect above average writing skills. If you're an A student, don't expect an A from his class.

The one bright spot in Norman Hall. Don't take him if you are the typical lazy ED major. This guy will actually inspire you to work hard and learn. Promotes independent thinking. A well grounded liberal who does not let his world view influence his relationships with students. A 10 plus!!
