It is a hybrid class for intercultural communication. He gives us a discussion question in four groups and we would need to critique the other groups answers. It is pretty easy if you do all your work and it is very interesting to learn about. I am glad I took this easy, we barely have any classes because it is a hybrid and we had days off.

His class is quite easy. Keep up with your assignemnts and you are guaranteed a passing grade. He gives second chances to students he sees with potential and his gives extra credit as well. There are weekly online discussions since this class is a hybrid and it counts towards your grade but it is very easy. Textbook is used as a helping guide.

Personally I would not take his class. He gives you weekly discussions and then you have to critique others in your class. His instructions are not made clear sometimes. I also would not recommend him because when you email him he is not willing to help you out. The class content is also not very interesting.

Professor Lu is a good professor. You have a case study for the whole semester that you choose, plus weekly blackboard discussions. He also gives out alot of extra credit if you need it. He will work with you if you need it. Easy A

Professor Lus class was pretty chill. He has clear expectations for his students which are the weekly blackboard discussions and ICC case study which are all pretty easy. His class was really good and he is a fair grader. He gave my class section plenty of extra credit so we would all have a good grade at the end of the term!

Professor is a very nice guy and is willing to help you if need be. He wants you to pass and understands that this is a core class and not life or death. One open book midterm and take home final. One research case study (nothing to worry about), work load is BEYOND manageable. Take the class, you'll be fine.

Wow at these comments. I would have to agree that his assignments are very unorganized. But if you ask him in class what hes exactly looking for you would understand more. He does ask for alotnof papers but each paper needs to be a page long , not three 5page essays. If you think you are doing bad there are many optional opportunities for you

He gives the class a research project with little to no explanation of how things should be, which makes it confusing. You can email him for clarification and he will respond with something that doesn't really answer the questions you have, which is a tad annoying. Professor are suppose to give feedback to see where you can improve. He doesn't.

Professor Lu is not the best professor in the world but definitely not the most. I hand things in late, change my mind about topic ideas all the time, and he doesn't really mind at all. Not too much work, not such a serious class / professor. He will most likely give you an A as long as you do your work.

Really difficult class in the beginning. One research project that was difficult and long, two exams which were easy and weekly online discussions.

PROF. LU was okay. Lectures were very interesting & he was big on groups. Thing is, he would interrupt opinions if he didn't care and his assignment instructions were very unclear so I had to ask many questions. I did enjoy his weekly online discussions and how he gave extra credit to boost grades.

WHATEVER YOU DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. I promise this man is out to make you fail. He doesnt care at all about his students. He gave so many students incorrect on the midterm when they got the answers from HIS notes and the textbook. Im positive this man did not know what he was doing. And plus we had weekly blackboard assignments. DONT DO IT

I took him for speech and I loved every minute of it. The readings are very interesting, I would read them for fun. You have to post 300 words for online discussion once a week. His midterm and final were very straightforward. Open ended questions, but extremely easy. I'm not a speech major but I got an A+ and would definitely take him again. EasyA

This class was a hybrid class and I wasn't informed of that before taking the class. You find out the first day of class that one day is online and the next is in class. He's very extra when giving assignments(asks for a lot). Not direct when asked a question. Still leaves you a bit confused. Gives a lot of homework. Online assignments every week.

The class is easy if you do the work on time. It's all online and he's always in china so you barely see him. Midterm is in class and he allows you to have a study sheet (front and back) in front of you and he tells you everything that is on it. Final is take home (if he likes the class), 3 questions page for each double spaced.

Worst course I've taken so far. Accent is type heavy. He misses a lot of class due to his trips to China. Excessive work that is Online and lengthy research assignment.

He offers a hybrid class along with his lecture classes, but there's a lot of group work, online discussions and critiquing, and reading. His accent is very difficult to understand. The textbook is expensive, but you NEED it for every assignment. For the research project, you also have to present and critique other presentations.

The concepts are easy, he is very kind and lenient. If you do the work, you will get a good grade. The course has alot of discussion board posts required, but if you do them he lets you bring a "cheat sheet" to the midterm and will make the final a take-home. If you pay attention & do the usual work, the tests are very easy and you will get an A.

This guy is okay, he has an accent and makes his class work seem like its the most important thing in the world. However, simply following his guidelines can give you an A. Midterm- open book, Final- take home with a curve, Project- requires research (very tedious), Presentation- 10 min based on research.
