Don't take him! The worse professor I've ever had. This guy is old enough to retire. His exams are very difficult, and he is a hard grader. His review are useless. I attended all the classes, did the extra credit assignments, and the term paper. He gave me a C+. I regreted to take him.

This guy knows his stuff big time. The book is not easy so it's good to have a teacher, like Simon who explains so well the material. The exams are not that difficult but attend every class. I highly recommend him.

I dont agree with whoever bash him. He gave enough extra credit writings, but people chose not to write because they are lazy. This is college, so you need some responsibilty to boost your grade. I got D+ in Test1 but I did his extra credit work. He gave me A+ (25% additional points) for Term Paper, and ended with B+ final grade. So, he is not bad.

His tests are hard, which contains 30 MCQs in theory and 15 MCQs in problem. Chances are very remote to get a good grade. You need to know the theory and journal entries. Professor does not teach, but spends half of class' time ridiculing students and going off topic. Is not helpful or respectful towards students. If you want to have a shot at passing, then study the book carefully, and make sure you know all the journal entries. Professor does assign extra credit assignment on random stuff, which can help you.

What?s with this guy. Prof Simon is the most intimidating prof in QC; Very authoritarian not as helpful as I'd like him 2b. Poor lectures. 4get about qs. those who ask questions r trying to debate with him. Very bitter. However, u get to do Crs, get some valuable guidance 4 d future. Do d final paper, study hard. this professor is a trip. he can be funny and insulting at the same time. to get close to passing his exam for 372, you should study and know the JE and the Equations.i hate to give him a bad review but i truly think he doesn't care anymore. he just teaches:if you wanna learn thats on you. use the slides to the book. they are online

Professor Abraham Simon is a horrible professor. I took 311 with him, and he didn't teach anything. Pretty much had to read the book and teach myself. He spends hardly anytime teaching, and more time being critical of the entire class. He degrades students openly, does not answer questions. Exams are also very difficult. Do not take this professor!

um.. if you want a good grade take him? But why'd you give hime a 1 for easiness? What a fool. This guy will confuse you and bore you all at the same time. His lectures are useless! There's 1 midterm and 1 final so don't screw up. Read the book thoroughly before the exams and nevermind his notes except for the midterm review. Study the J/E's too.

Many people do not like this prof - but I have to disagree. I feel if you listen carefully to his lectures and take good notes, exams are straight from that and it is easy to get an A. Gives a lot of extra credit and big curves. Class particiapation adds points as well, give a lot of chances for a high grade if you take them.

I usually had detailed notes in most of my other accounting classes. But in this class, I only had a few pages throughout the semester because he doesn't write down on the board often. Also he does not follow the syllbus, and likes to jump between different chapters, which made hard for the students to prepare for the lectures.
