Professor Kelly is wonderful. I had him for Psych 150 and his lectures were always very organized and clear. His tests are not easy, but he prepares you well for them. His lectures are very engaging I would definitely take him again.

Professor Kelly is, indeed, a truly remarkable and knowledgeable professor! He is also a genuinely caring professor who puts his students first. A lot of my friends struggled in this class but I found that if you take good notes and fully pay attention to his lectures, Kelly is actually very easy to learn from and not that difficult at all. If you pay attention to what he's saying and make note of the points he emphasizes, your studying will be easy and the test will seem like a breeze.

Comment:

Professor Kelly is one of my favorite professors at Colgate. Even though I had him in a big lecture class, he always kept things interesting. His lectures were always very clear and although his tests were not easy, they were definitely manageable for people who put in the effort and had a good grasp on the topic.

Excellent teacher! Very clear in his lectures and easily understandable. Gives great examples to help you remember things, and very helpful in office hours. Not the easiest grader, but a really interesting and knowledgable teacher.

He was a great teacher, clearly understood everything he was teaching and got his point across well. Very willing to help. I was in a big class so it was lecture style but he still seemed very approachable. Very charismatic and funny.

Professor Kelly was the best psychology professor I have ever had. He has a ton of brilliant examples, and the way he teaches and emphasizes certain concepts makes it relatively easy to study. The tests are still hard, but he is always willing to help. He is also very, very charming and easy to listen to.

Words cannot describe how cool Professor Kelly is. He is interesting, clear, thoughtful and organized. He helped me through the course all the way through to the end though he wasn't teaching after 1/3 of it was over. It is evident how much he cares about his students. Please, take his class.

Spencer Kelly may be the coolest professor on campus. He explains everything to you in a way that is simple but not condescending. His feedback was great and his desire to learn with students, not just from them, really helped fuel a wonderful class. Take anything with him that you can, he's a great guy to learn from.

How to Build a Baby was my favorite class so far. It's a great SP class and you learn a ton. Having taken PSYC150 was helpful for a background knowledge of the articles we read and familiarity with Prof. Kelly. He's really helpful if you go to his office hours and his criticism is very constructive. I got immediate positive feedback in grading.
